I board dogs and usually have between 5-10 big dogs in my house. The amount of dirt and hair is insane (I had the tineco ifloor 3, and it was useless for my needs). I’ve had this one for 2 months, and it’s been a real life changer. It’s great! It can suck up a really impressive amount of hair. The auto suction is great, because when it ramps up and stays up, i know it’s full of hair, and I just pull the clump out it dirty water bin and keep going. I also use it for all pee accidents and dog vomit, and then run the cleaning cycle two or 3 times. I’ve cleaned the roller twice with something sudsy and deodorizing, since it gets so much abuse. I also check the filter often for hair. I run this machine constantly It’s fast and easy, and has really saved my back! I’m so, so glad I got it. It’s been worth every penny.
Just got this one - much thanks to your review! Really cool so far. But no mention anywhere about cleaning carpets. Also, the manual is, IMO, pretty thin. The ultra mode is a big mystery too. I know you said it sanitize the floor or something - but the tech behind it is not mentioned anywhere.
It is not for cleaning carpets. For that you would need a capet cleaner. The Ultra mode is still a bit of a mystery, but I have been told it was to sanitize the water. Let me know if you have any questions.
@@jamie.andrews The ultra mode "electorlyzes" the water. Sounds gimmicky for me but it's on some of the Tineco's as well, so I guess they were just trying to check a box to match their competitor.
i was just watching funny cat roomba videos and this video played automatically… i don’t own a vacuum, i just use my mom’s dyson and i know nothing about vacuums but i trust your review of this product. jolly good
Im so buying this. I hate my Bissell X7 (over-priced junkĺ. I always wanted something that coukd get closer to baseboards. Seems like 2 oversized (larger than housing) spinning pads that counter rotate channeling water and debris into a center section port, would be ideal.
Thank you for the informative review. Any feedback on the ease of battery replacement? Possible to DIY on replacement? This is one concern for cordless system.
Not really sure on the battery replacement. I have never needed to replace one. I would need instructions to replace this one or just start taking stuff apart.
You could technically, but it won't deep clean them. Sometimes I use it on really low pile mats. Anything higher than that it is advised to use a traditional carpet cleaner.
Hello, thank you for an informative review! I have a Zyle model, but it has one feature I dislike. Basically you can't leave your mop in the plugged in docking station and not use it for a few weeks - the battery will fall asleep and will need to be awoken with special process. With so many devices working on rechargeable batteries I would expect this to be solved in the docking station - it should cut the power off to the battery when charged. Do you know if Dreame has solved this? Or are there mentions in the manual not to leave device connected to the power for too long?
That is the first I have heard of that. I have never expieranced that with a Dreame model. On a side note the device would be what would stop charging. That would not be controlled by the dock.
@@jamie.andrews As long as something stops it. Had to send the battery two times to the service because of it, there is no easy way to wake it up once it's asleep. Never happened with any other appliances, so good to know it's only a weird "feature" from Zyle vacuum mop. I guess engineers did not expect people to go a few weeks without cleaning their floors.
I just added a comment on this. I love it! I have lots of big dogs and all their associated messes and massive quantities of hair, and this machine has been amazing at handling it all. I was really nervous at spending so much on it, but so glad I did. Aside from emptying the dirty water (and HAIR), I don’t really do anything by hand. I honestly didn’t think it would work well with all these dogs, but it does! I read sooooo many reviews, but didn’t see much about dog hair. This one was definitely the right choice!
if you have bad stain try have a spray bottle of solution and let it soak for 5-10 minutes then go over it, if it real bad go over then put the soaking solution down
Hi! I need help... Which cleans the floor better, Dreame H12 Dual or Roborock Dyad pro combo? In the case of Roborock, I am afraid that the e5 error will occur as in previous versions. Does the same thing happen in Pro combo? Regards! :)
Id choose wither the H12 Lro or the new Roborock Flexi Pro. There have been some issues with the Dyad and the combo is no different. It is also harder to clean the Dyad and the Dyad won't go under my cabinets.
@@jamie.andrews Thank you very much for the advice. I'm afraid of the lack of manual selection of the max mode in the H12 dual... I want the best possible floor cleaning and vacuum cleaner in one device. So it's better to buy H12 dual anyway? Does the vacuum cleaner in this device work poorly?
is the docking design better than Tineco? is the location of the charging contact still suspectible to corrosion from the cleaning liquid? My Tineco S3 is on it's last leg, and i have to keep trying to clean the corrosion on the charging contact
That is a tough call and one I am not entirely sure I can answer as it depends on what is importantfeature wise. They are both very good but each have their weaknesses. If you have not already watch my Dyad Pro review.
@@jamie.andrews thank you for your answer. I watched the videos you posted on the dyad pro they were very informative. I was leaning towards that one but the h12 pro seems really good too. But as you said they have different strengths and weaknesses.
@Reba K I like the both for different reasons, but I also have robots running around mopping so I mostly need it to clean where the robots do not. Under cabinets is an example.
I also reviewed both ... and it it really not easy to say which is better. Both are very good but are not perfect. Still not sure which one to keep :-D. Die dyad pro does not leave wet drops, the dreame however is easier in maintenance (Cleaning etc). The dyad is a bit more comfortable by using (more flexible and smooth), the dreame is better for some uneven floors. Most other aspects are the same.
@Markus Di Figlia Yea I am still torn. If the H12 Pro had detergent injection I would use it more. Since the Dyad Pro is not able to clean under my cabinets it is sorta useless for me.
Is there any chance you could measure the clearance of this one and the Dyad Pro? I would like to know what's the height they can both reach in order to know if the Dyad Pro can actually clean under my kitchen cabinets, or if I should go for this one :D
Thanks for the reviews, looking for a wet dry vac for hardwood floors that can go under counters in kitchen and rest of the house. Was looking at the H11max till I came across this. Is there another vac that you would recommend over this one for hardwoods throughout?
Yes for hardwoods look at the Dyad Pro which is also on sale right now on Amazon for Prime day. It has tight water control that is safe for hard wood floors and also has detergent injection. An am actually getting ready to put out a head to head short video comparing these 2. Check my channel for a review on the Dyad Pro. amzn.to/46LWaRR
@jamie.andrews I'm really trying to decide between this and the Roborock Dyad Pro. I don't have large messes or debris to pick up and no pets. Mostly laminate flooring. I like the auto dispense on the dyad but I feel like the drying on the h12 is better based on reviews. Do you have a preference or suggestion to help make this decision. Thanks!
@@mo25115 Both dry the roller just fine. The H12 is faster but also a bit louder too when drying. I am a fan of the auto dispenser for detergent on the Dyad but the H12 is easier to clean since it only has a single roller.
