Its actually a bad idea it include prices of the consumerbles . You can now buy kits with over a year's supply of bags, pads, brushes, and other accessories for under $40. The solution is also cheaper in bulk, or you can refill the bottles with Bissell's multi-surface floor cleaning solution (a concentrated very low sudsing floor cleaner for electric mops).

@@kewlztertc5386 I did notice that they weren't as expensive as she stated in the video, which is a good thing. I'm sure the more time that goes by, more manufacturers will release their own consumables for this product as well.

@sgtouring also the parts are interchangeable amongst models. And some parts are interchangeable amongst different brands. This has rapidly dropped the prices. I got 10x bags, 10x side brushes, 10x filters, and two rollers (one with bristles!) for $22.00. Also, there's now a zippered reusable dust bag. You get 5x $20. The solution is the only thing still expensive. But people are simply refilling the bottles. I buy Bissell Crosswave (multi surface) floor cleaning solution. It's super low suddzing and would work fine. I've read people use SimpleGreen, vinegar, or nothing. Sadly the water/sewage connection kits are ridiculously expensive for this machine @ $400, or generic compatible for $190.

Yea we don’t really wash the traditional mop head, just reuse or replace… maybe the robot is more expensive so we take better care of it

How did it not do well? Still working very well for me. I run it several times a day, the mop pad deteriorates in around 1 month mark. Did you even set it up properly

@@madsncakes the vac head was very small so it left lots of dusk and other items on the floor between runs and along transitions. Second: it would not self empty the dust bin, the air could be heard and felt during testing (had it set to empty every time it returned to base) but would clog and that led to small wet globs of dirt and dog hair all over the house. Mop pads left swirls all over my Brazilian hardwood even with using floor cleaner solution. Added non-alcohol based to the clean water directly and it got better, my wife could still see them. My wife has lots of throw rugs the unit just bunched them up at the end of a run, forcing me to pick up all rugs during operation, we’re my shark actually goes over them. The tech is great, but just not mature enough for my needs at this time.

@@cdw1485 it does sound like u missed a piece somewhere during the setup. I would take a video and check with customer service.

It’s not wood. Just vinyl floorings which is great with the robot

There’s an external pump to push out the water. Most dirt trapped in the water filter. Have to empty out very frequently

Yes there’s an add on fee all included for setup and plumbing service

Prices are 1/3 what they used to be already. Just got the L20 ultra… upgraded from the top of the line from 4 years ago! Amazing the improvements 👍

Yes, you do not have to hook-up to the water pipe and drainage. In fact, that option is not even available for the USA yet, as far as I know.

At the start of the video I shared refilling the tank. That’s the tank to use. And no pipes connection needed
