….worlds most expensive foam plane…buy a banggood toyplane and experiment yourself instead… youre not goin to be an slope soarer aerobatic ecvilibrist anyway…build cheap n experiment - fly hard n low the le fish way - crash hard - repair…repeat…
It doesn’t look like there is much wind speed/lift, it’s just barely flying with standard orientation, the less efficient characteristics of flying inverted puts it on the edge of stalling
Nice flying! I like your videos! I have Dream Flight Alula and Iike it. Do you think this Ahi is a good rc plane for all around slope soarer, do you like it and give it a thumbs up?
ϟkål from California 🇩🇰 💪🏼 I’m looking forward to buying one of your balsa flying wings. Does the larger version split into 2 halves? I’m looking for something I can take on hikes, I have the Alula but being foam it’s a bit heavy. Anyways, my father was from Denmark. He passed away when I was very young, so building a model from Denmark will give me a chance to sit in peace and think about the few memories I have while making something in his honor. ᛟ
@2:33 when friends try to unmaiden your maiden. It was fun to see how quickly your skilled flying brain adapted to control the plane. At the beginning it was clear that you were still getting a sense for how much stick travel to give it to make smooth turns and maneuvers. At this point in the video you had already figured it out.
It is pretty easy to fly, but the lift from the under 6 knots wind was not that good and at downhill landing on the vertical dune is = a+1km walk to bring it back so you have to be a bit careful. It will be much better on the Cowhill on a more windy day :)
There was just 6 knots wind, and not much lift and the slope is vertical so a +1. km walk if you fly to low and get under the lift zone near the button. :) It will be much better next time ;)
