In this episode I discuss what it means to have a Dream Girl Summer. We often get so caught up in our day to day life that we forget to take the time to dream.
If you don’t think about, plan and envision the life you want to live then your life will go by super fast and you will end up spending a lot of days doing a lot of things you didn’t want to do. Join me as I talk about what it means to fight for the dream you had, you have or that you thought you would no longer have the opportunity to fulfill.

I enjoyed this message. I'm 62.My cousins and I are getting a trip together for this summer. Thanks you for the encouragement. I've lost several Love ones the last couple of years. Everything about this message was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you!! This summer I dream of slowing things down. I’ll be 40 in a few months. The first thing I’ve done is given myself permission to not have a doctorate degree by 40. I realized last week that’s ok. An MBA is cool, I’m confident enough to know I’m intelligent and that I have a lot to offer many potential employers. Revisiting the degree, at a later point, a later season, is okay. The second dream I have is to be present with my children. I have six year old twin girls and an eight year old son. They.need.me. I know that and I want to live that. I’ve been so busy trying to better myself thinking that will make the family better but I want to take a step back and think about what truly matters in this world. I have people counting on me to guide them to learn who God is and to know Him for themselves. My dream is to begin that journey of guidance for my children this summer.

I am dreaming of getting my Dream job, I haven’t worked since Feb of 2020, I lost my job right before the pandemic. So I am READY to work again, in a job I will love! That’s my dream, and I know I am going to have to work for it, and PRAY for wisdom on how to achieve getting the job. A door is opening, I pray I will OPEN wide!

Hi, Chrystal! Enjoyed this video, Thanks! I’ve been recovering from a hip replacement this summer. I’m 57 but have felt much older for some time now. Had to give up my job because of the hip and back issues. Helping to look after my disabled husband and myself most of the time wears me out. I use to love road trips, nature walks, camping and swimming at the lake. Can’t do any of that right now but, I’m learning that resting, being still, does give me time to think, to wonder, to dream. Today for the first time this summer I went to the back deck and had my quiet time. It sits high off the back of our house. Listening to the birds and feeling the morning breeze was so refreshing. I hope to get back into that usual morning summer routine now that I can move a little more freely. Hoping to have some adventures with the grandkids and our daughter as well. Never know what me might get up to but as you said we’ll have to get them off the devices first😉

I’m 70 now and I keep feeling I need to get rid of a lot of stuff and be freed up from years of living with my wonderful family, I just want space everywhere but there’s so much attachment and love , it’s hard; but it’s my dream.

Single parent with a teen and two 6 and under, maxed out college hours, crazy homeschool w/sports schedule, *for* *now* means the very little funds I do have go to food, gas, hygiene items, cleaning items, and the occasional treat for my kids. Making dreams happen takes $. Looking forward to this degree getting complete over the coming year, and I'll get to this another summer when it actually can be done. Love the ideas for then. 💜

I have a dream to create biblical illustrations (both digital and hand to canvas). What I visualize in my head does not match my skill level. BUT I want to take baby steps and start creating a bit each day or at least once a week to build up my creativity. Going to take a lot of patience and kindness with myself as I learn but I believe I can do it!!!

Thank you for being bold, transparent, unapologetic, graceful, tasteful and YOU! You have encouraged me and I'm sure a host of others simply by coupling your heart and life's lessons with the powerful Word of God! My seemingly impossible dream - up to now - was to teach pre-school children the French language at my church! After listening this evening, I am persuaded that I must get off my derriere and pursue this longtime goal and desire . I've been studying French for about a year now and - Lord willing - will be visiting France this summer! By God's grace, I am now in pursuit to continue my education in this field! I can’t wait to be a Dream Girl this summer, coming up with something that makes my life better.
