its weird that these characters are so far apart on the tier list. They both have lengthy low% combos. They both kill at high% barring specific unreliable setups. They both have situationally good counters, bad base mobility heavily enhanced with character specific options, good recovery with weaknesses, average neutral, good disadvantage, good advantage that diminishes at high %.
I will never get why everyone acts like Bayo isn't one of the most privileged characters on the roster. Like all Bayos don't burst optiin across the screen like a rocket, but you whine about Steve's minecart. She touches you and your eating 30% to 40% at any percent using a variation of the same move over and over again but complain about Sonic. Ungimpablr and can't be edgeguarded but you feel sorry for her because she struggles to kill? I'm pretty sure Shiek, Inkling and a few others would love to enjoy Bayos privilege
I havent played smash since brawl. I dont watch too much modern smash. Despite this I saw 5 minutes of Bayo in action and it was clear to me why they had to nerf her. All I am thinking is why is her recovery so damn good. You cant edge guard her at all it seems from my perspective
