Madara became a literal god from a simple and normal boy. All he had was his sharingan and using them , his plans, his strength he became the sage of six paths. All this points to his determination, hard work, intense planning for his goal. The ostsutsukis were just aliens who were proclaimed as gods on a weaker planet but this guy from that same weak planet reached at their level from zero. He is more like a god of shinobi than hashi. ( Imo)

TBH Madara, Nagato, Itachi, Obito, Sasori etc were far more interesting than Team 7.

At the end, reanimations weren't under nugen sukuyomi so hashirama and madara talking and solving every thing, weaving hand symbols together rather than naruto and sasuke would have been much better than the ending with rabbit goddess being involved
