Six Flags Great America was supposed to build the worlds tallest water coaster called Tsunami Surge but it won't open until next year unfortunately. So my question is will that water coaster be taller than Toothless' Trickling Torpedo or not? And whether it will be taller or not, will it also be a hydromagnetic water coaster or not?
Great, detailed review! I know I would love this one. I didn't realize that the tallest water coaster is still at 81 ft. Green Extreme at NRH2O is listed at 81 ft, and that's been around a long time. Massiv probably beats it by about a couple inches. NRH2O is my favorite waterpark for the atmosphere that they provide, and lines are usually not bad.
@@CanobieCoaster Agree that Cheetah Chase was the weakest of the three water coasters. Though the completely unnecessary deluge at the top of each hill would have me laughing hysterically the entire ride.
Great detailed video! Does the person who sits in the 2nd or 3rd seat get as splashed as the person who sits in the front seat? My daughter doesn't want to get her hair wet. She will likely sit in the 2nd or 3rd seat. Will she get splashed ?
Everyone will get wet. The difference between the person up front and everyone else is the person up front gets the mist in their eyes from the uphill bits.
Waited 2.5 hours for this. My first water coaster in the back. When I rode the coaster at volcano bay I didn’t get airtime. On toothless (I’m not calling it “dream runner”) I got airtime on almost every hill. Dose where you sit determine the amount of airtime you get on other water coasters?
I find the front gets more airtime going up while the back gets a little more airtime going down. I found Krakatau far better for airtime (I rode that after filming this review).
It wasn't on my immediate review list since I don't have a ton of off-ride footage for them, but I think there's enough from Holiday World I could use for a review. I was leaning more towards a top 10=25 water slide list.
I haven’t been on many water coasters but liked this! Lookin forward to Tsunami Surge at my home park of SFGAm tho! Random but how do you decide what coasters to review??
I did indeed find the last two drops on TTT more intense than the trapdoor drops on Carnivortex & Surfari. If you can ride this, you can ride those two.
The length stat is approx 1500 feet long, was talking to Proslide reps during the Blooloop V Expo recently. Asked about it during the Dreamworks Live Q&A with Rick Hunter and others.
@@Cheezbat It was confirmed to be the longest indoors installation. Was originally going to go around just the wave pool, but they wanted the indoor length record and extending it farther was how they were going to get it.
@@CanobieCoaster Longest INDOOR watercoaster was what got quoted. While the Q&A with the figure is not in here, check out this session for further details and info ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GmsopqWQ4cs.html
Lol before 2020 Holiday’s World’s two water coasters were the longest water coasters in the world (Mammoth and Wildebeast) now they have 3 (4 if you count cheetah chase as two) which look better than both
Maybe it was because I was used to the appearance of Nickelodeon Universe, but I thought the water park was lively with this slide going around the perimeter and the wave pool in the center. The slide towers also look good and the park looks brighter in person than my camera could capture.
I wonder if this would be better than Kalahari Sandusky, my home water park. I prefer the theming of the ladder, but this looks like it has more thrills.
@@harrycalcroft1217 The ones at Wild Wadi have length, but not intensity. The ones at Aquaventure can't match the airtime. The one at Yas Waterworld has great airtime, but it's short.
