I've been homeless for three months without access to a guitar. I've finally got into a new place and unpacked my axe. It's the longest I've not played in 20 years, even my callouses are all gone. Finally home, guitar out, and EJT has me straight back to it with an uplifting track that's a joy to play along to. Thanks Tom, you're a legend.
I shattered my left elbow back in April and have been unable to reliably manage any level of dexterity in my left hand. I had been playing guitar for about 17 years up to that point and I'd largely given up hope. This track makes me want to try at the very least.
dont lose hope lad and make exercises to get better... i broke mi wrist a few years ago and i thought i wouldnt playing again and that almost killed me but after some months i could do it again and even get better my playing and it was my left wrist imagine cheers up guy
Don’t give up hope. I cut the tip of my finger last year. I’ve finally healed but still have numbness. Start back slowly, knowing it’s going to take some time. Maybe look into some exercises and techniques to work on your dexterity. Slow and steady wins the race sometimes.
Almost 15 years ago I broke my arm and nearly sectioned a nerve that made my left wrist and fingers completely dead. The most painful thing was not being able to play guitar, but it also became the greatest motivation for me to recover. With physiotherapy, exercises and patience I recovered the use of my left hand and I remember when being able to play a simple powerchord again was the greatest joy at the time. Now the last couple years I dedicated more and more time practicing my leads and I improved more than I ever did before, thanks to great backing tracks like this ! Don't lose hope, take small steps and stay strong !🤘
So beautiful!! I love that shimmery tone and 80's vibe from the drum beat! 😍I could be wrong, but I'm detecting some Satriani inspired ideas in this one!!!
Elevated jam tracks is the best name for this channel! Absolute bangers each time! I have gotten more out of this channel than any other guitar channels around!! I am uplifted with each video!
This tune strict me the moment I heard it I simply love playing with this track and although I can play it you make melodic and beautiful thank you for sharing this it’s just so amazing where you can go with it I’m having so much fun and it’s been awhile so can’t wait to hear all the others be safe and god bless!
Hi dear, i have a question about learning this kind of style. So generally I'm taking backing tracks of yours and playing, but not perfectly and fastly just walking corresponding notes in the keyboard, going up doing down string bending vibrating and etc. But kinda there isnt something else, i mean I'm just playing slowly corresponding notes. For example the notes which are related to A minor backing track. What else do I have to do? I can feel the notes which are or aren't suitable for the backing track. I mean I can feel the rhythm and music. Is this true way of learning or am I just wasting time? Please write me your advice. Thanks for your attention
how the h-e-double-hockey-stick DO YOU PLAY SO FAST > MAKES ME FEEL BAD - I will never get to do that > it looks as if it just melts out of you with zero effort - maybe I should quit the guitar
