I too would like to know manufacture of you chuck? The aluminum collet able to deal with the handle of the scoop while you hollow out the scoop is of interest for me
Thomas, you use this skew which I think you made it yourself. Would you tell me wat's the skew angle and what's the bevel angle when you grind the edge? I also like to know why the shape of the tang is like a triangular. You should know how to plane the piece smooth with it.
Thomas, I see that you use "Swiss Stone Pine" for some of your turnings. Do you know how that wood compares to "colorado blue Spruce"? I had several trees of that variety, that died this year due to very wet conditions in the soil. I would like to salvage a large number of chunks of those trees for turning projects, if the wood is suitable. Please advise.
Deux vidéo de tourneurs Allemand que je regarde et au moins deux ou trois mandrins de reprise qui ne sont pas commercialisés en France à ma connaissance . Pour certains j'arrive à les tourner dans du buis, tel que le cône morse de reprise pour les cerises, pour celui ci spécialement échancré pour laisser passer le manche , il faut connaitre un tourneur sur métaux pour les réaliser. en tout cas c'est génial
