35 dollars a month is absolutely ridiculous, Great tutorial, I was excited until I went to the website. Seems like a good product but there is no way I would pay that. This is why I am team AI watching companies like this fold because of overly priced products is music to my ears. this should be max $10 a month. I can do this albeit longer in Blender for free using sculpt tools with relative ease.
Blender being completely free is great, totally understand some subscription models should be more affordable. Hopefully they take comments like this into consideration
You cannot import just clothes (you have to import whole avatar) if you are free user, so this product is pointless if you are going Free acc ; Unfortunately Metatailor is to expensive to take it seriously and for it facc limitations its waste of space on the disc, but you are very good at explaining stuff so keep doing good work, but maybe with different content : )
quite useless be honest if you wish to use this commercially as you have to keep paying pro version during your whole game use, this so bad. this is shame as it looks very good
Thank you for your feedback. Our team is fixing the EULA to be more specific. The purpose of this was to restrict the use of the pro content specifically as microtransactions so that users couldn't take our entire pro cataloge and resell it without written permission. In short, YOU KEEP COMMERCIAL rights on your items! We are updating the license to reflect this very soon!
Great tutorial, But The free version wont let you uncheck the avatar on export as shown in other tutorials, and now only allows you to export 3 times per month, which makes the free version pretty useless, as you wont be able to use anything inside Unreal without purchasing the $35 US or $60 AU per month subscription which is automatically charged to your account month by month, They were pretty sketchy when I asked if I could cancel at any time (not sure about this), try find out for yourself.
Hey not sure who you spoke to but you can absolutely cancel at any time. To fulfill this workflow on a free account you can take the dressed avatar into any 3D platform and delete the underlying body mesh.
Use tricks for trying to use twice, getting all the advantages: for example, use 3 accounts on different computers, delete the registry of the program, uninstall. If you want to get at the least 6 or 9 times. However, it gets you easy some calculation. But for me, beginning and being ignorant with Blender, it is suitable for me.
However, the software crashed me like 3 times, and not suitable for fat people (characters). When it's imported, U.E just makes its own decision wrapping the format of the shirt.
Hail and well met, grand sorcerer of Unreal Engine! Thy tutorial on dressing Metahumans is a truly magical gift, freely imparting such vast knowledge. 'Tis almost *unreal* how generously thou dost share thy wisdom! Truly, thy craft is a stitch in time, saving countless hours for those who follow. May your spells of creativity never falter, and your Metahumans ever stride in splendid attire! Verily, your enchanted wardrobe is the stuff of legend!
