From Pachesham BD on Sunday to cross country schooling at Coombelands on Monday.
All the highs and lows, thrills and spills.
Our weekend kicked off on Sunday when we headed off to Pachesham BD in search of some Area Festival scores.
On Monday we met up with our besties Linda and Ted at Coombelands for some XC schooling.

I love how smoothly Remington goes over jumps. It’s like he’s just gliding over them.

My heavens I just cannot get enough! I am slowly working through all of your videos and I am mesmerized by how effortlessly Remmi takes those jumps. I say slowly working through the videos because I get stuck watching some 3 and 4 times. I love, love, love watching you and Linda together with your horses. She is so cute and Teddy is adorable. My heart stopped when she came off but that was the most ladylike fall off I have ever seen. Bravo and hugs to you both. 🥰

the girl on the chestnut-paint needs shorter stirrups for consistent position and to help with jabbing the horse in the mouth over the fences. no hate just a thought.

She doesn’t fold at all and looks so tense! Had me cringing the whole time... needs to learn how to do jump position and balance herself before she does anymore jumping

I always wonder what horses think when aimed for a ditch. I imagine its something like "Stupid human points me at hole in the ground." Also wet feathers are SO CUTE

Awwww thank you Thea, that’s so lovely of you to say. We definitely still have LOADS to learn but I’m very happy with how he’s coming along at the moment. I’ve 100% caught the XC bug, absolutely loved it xx

Riding Remington np! 💗 you’re one of the only ppl with 300+ subs who reply, Tysm! I sadly don’t have a trailer so we are hiring one when Lolly gets better at jumping to go xc... IM SO EXCITED yet quite nervous 😬😊. And there is always space for improvement no matter which horse and always harder jumps x

Good on her for getting back on. The screwball was giving her such a hard ride and she handled it amazing. You and rem looked so good too. Adorable🥺🧡

New Subscriber, so I'm binge watching your videos. Cobs are one of my favorites, along with Shires and Clydesdales. Question for you: what type of saddle are you using? I've never seen one like that before. Thanks!

I love a Shire and Clydesdale too ☺️ It’s a ‘show saddle’ - It’s designed to be worn in the show ring but we use it for everything. It’s straight cut to show off their shoulder.

Piebald is fantastic!!! But the skewbald is way too good for the rider! He got fed up of her potato-ness and dumped her. She needs to shorten her stirrups and lighten in the hand :)

PaisleyNinja Both of the horses are very novice when it comes to XC jumping and I’m sure you’ll agree you never look pretty when you ride novice/young horses 😉

She got him over the jumps. Ive never ridden that horse and wasnt there so why judge. Nobody is a worse critic of yourself than you.

If I webt xc with my connemara he would not stop like he would gallop around the place and no one can stop him so pretty much I would even get to any jumps because he just woukdbt stop
