Not related but...today is my last day of freshman year, and at our high school we had a mini pride parade! They were handing out flags and everyone was dressed in rainbows, some kids even wore flags as capes. It was so much fun! There was also one of the teachers wearing a "free mom hugs" t-shirt. I almost cried! I was so happy! I can't wait to do it again next year🌈❤️

That’s cool!! I just had a tour of the school I’m going to in September and they are hanging up pride flags everywhere and the main area of the school has a whole area with EVERY flag I’m so excited!! The music teacher has an amazing room lol-

@@panicatmychemicalfalloutbr6381 preferred pronouns can be a bit of a mess, But generally I'd advice to try and use they/them as much as possible, I know it doesn't work in every language, But just ask someone: "oh btw, If I call you [insert word that is generally considered to be gendered here] Do you have a problem with that?" Usually they'll tell you what pronouns to use. I often use the word dude for this, (regardless of what I think someone's pronouns are) Because it's amicable, but I'd encourage you to just try a few things.

just wanna make this clear for everyone talking about the beginning. not every nonbinary person uses they/them pronouns. my friend uses she/them pronouns and they are nonbinary.

YES, so many people think non binary is just they/them when some use they/she or they/he. Some use any and some use their own pronouns, non binary is different for everyone!

@@lalycasbri88 I suppose it depends on the person, if someone were to go by she/they, it may be preferred for them to go by mostly she. Some may go by mostly they and some may like them interchangeably. I suppose just ask them and see what they prefer!
