Didn’t realize it during the season but seeing this now his running style reminds a lot of Big Ben. He doesn’t have the impossible to take down ability but just the way he runs

2025 Steelers. I like the way this kid has pocket presence. Stands tall and actually looks looks at multiple reads already.

If he stays meaning Allar until his senor yr he will be a Heisman candidate and possibly a title appearance 1st rd pick, and a superstar in the pros. come out to early many yrs. of struggles ahead.

Definitely a raw QB as a prospect. But if picked by a team that will allow him to Sit and develop he can be something special at the next level . He needs a good vet to sit behind and being currently only 20 years old there’s plenty of time to develop him

(Cowboys fan) heard we might move on from Dak Prescott after the 2024 season. If we are gonna draft a franchise quarterback, I wouldn’t mind if we drafted Drew Allar is he’s available.

Such a waste of arm talent with what the coaching staff asked him to do this year. Can effortlessly throw it 40-60 yards asked him to throw slants and screens 90% of the time.

With a very "limited" WR room (talent-wise) that's all they could run. This kid needs weapons in a big way

Carson Wentz comp imo. He has the intangibles. he loves hero ball which is the risk. If you draft him you gotta let him cook a build around him or else he's 2years and out.
@jshulman98
@jshulman98 6 месяцев назад
Loves hero ball? He threw one interception all year before the Bowl game. If anything, he's been very good at not putting the ball in harms way. He's done very well this season for not having ANY receivers who can consistently separate and make tough catches through traffic. His reads/progressions along with his pocket awareness and rocket arm automatically make him a 1st round lock. If he looks the same next year he'll be a late 1st at worst

@@jshulman98 hero ball and being stupid is different. He likes putting his self in situations that coaches hate, rolling on his bad side, last second throws, making things more complicated then they are. Carson Wentz did the same thing causing a fast regression. It's also an injury concern seen with Carson Wentz. Simply put, great arm, good enough speed to improvise, can read a defense but takes too many hits from trying to force the highlight play. I get it Penn state fans are passionate my friends a Penn state fan but I'm speaking from a coaching stand point not a fan. Edit: to simplify it's not a college stat concern it's a NFL translation and injury risk concern. Unless he learns to roll out when he's pressured rather then just because he can he's a bust waiting to happen. It's such a small hurdle it doesn't matter with the right coach.

@@NotoriousNFM size don't matter Brodie, cam newton was 6'5 240lbs and his entire career got ruined by an injury. Carson is 6'5 and 235lbs or so he was a injury concern more often then not. I mean you got to stop being stupid and think..... If he basically matches Carson's build, plays like a more gifted Carson Wentz, and forces improv like Carson, is he the next Carson? Poor coaching and yeah, good coaching and hes going to be a MVP contender every year.
