Now the amount of men in the country who make that amount of money. Is slim, probably like 10% of men. And most men making that kind of money. Aren't looking for a 46 year old woman with two kids. It's hard to let go of yourself the moment you realize you're not #1 anymore. I grew up watching and admiring Drew. We're the same age and in the same place in life. You're not alone, Drew. They are vulnerable and there are predators out there looking for single Mom’s with daughters. Primary parents don't have the luxury of getting caught up in a relationship. They don't have the time to linger and have the one on one time that helps you figure out if this person is "it." They have to ease into things more slowly, be more cautious. It isn't enviable. And to remember what Drew grew up with and the dream of a solidified family for her daughters & know that hasn't been realized yet is heart breaking. Especially when her ex has found it with someone else.

Sometimes, life does not go linear despite our best efforts. I saw a comment saying she is older and should have thought about it before she divorced but the alternative is staying In an unhappy/unsatisfying place out of fear for the rest of her life because men may not find her as attractive. That’s dumb. At one point she was in the ideal age range men preferred and still ended up single. Nothing is going to guarantee any relationship will last.People die unexpectedly, grow apart, cheat, change. It’s not romantic but it is the truth. You only get one life. The best thing to do is cut your losses and move on with dignity and grace. Then try to find a new path for yourself with an understanding that it may consist of being single & that’s ok. Age shaming is pointless, younger women are also left and starting over with kids and they are shamed for that. Not youth, beauty or success can keep someone, it might attract them but really the only relationship that will last forever is the one with yourself.

Wow... Drew is looking rough. That's okay; time does that to people (especially women - no offense, ladies; you DO get to live 10 years longer than men.. that's the tradeoff).. But she's also a mom of two kids, kids who are already pretty much halfway through growing up. I'll tell you this much as a successful, relatively attractive 35 year old business owner - I'm only looking for women in their young to mid 20s with no kids who want to get married - there is a small chance that I'd get with a young mother (if she's a good match for me), but only if her child was still 2 or younger, as I would (hypothetically) want to be a part of that kid's life. If Drew wants to find something real, the she should probably be aiming for the realest relationship one can have - monogamous, lifelong marriage. You just wanna get laid, though, or have something super casual?
