And finally it shows this play happening from all the different angles, giving the viewers as much perspective as possible, before everything just going dark. Movie over. Don't explain anything to the audience, let them draw their own conclusions.

Those "still rings" and the "pommel horse" kicked my ass. And don't get me started on the one where you run real fast, jump onto the springboard (or whatever it's called), touch the pommel horse as you flip over it, and *attempt* to land on your feet. Yeah, right. After that, I had much respect for those guys during the Olympics. *Note: It's called "Vaulting"

I mean no hate to a guy who does a female-dominant sport, but in my opinion, girls playing football isn't comparable to that because: first, it is proven that males are typically more athletically inclined in the sense that men, on average, have 40% greater body strength than women which makes playing a male-dominant sport even more impressive. And secondly, football, is one one of the highest contact sports to play regardless of the gender that dominates it. With both being said, it makes sense that girls playing football receive more recognition than men who take part in female-dominant sports.

agreed -- toxic masculinity is a major issue and girls are often celebrated for venturing into a "man's" world (because of their supposed status as inferior) boys enjoying activities once deemed more "feminine" should not be subjected to ridicule. There's a great story on Twitter about a dad and his son who liked to paint his nails, got bullied at school for it etc. Worth a read.

You can't draw attention to talented people who aren't playing the Male dominated game. You saw what she went through and people talking crap about her because she's a girl, normalize girls in sports they feel like they aren't allowed to play and then lets talk about the talent that comes out of that.

Football is a contact sport, and it wouldn't be fair to say hit her lightly, and I think she'd feel disrespected to be treated as a lesser person by it as well. She knew what she was getting in to and she took that injury in stride. She could've gotten the same injury playing basketball or volleyball, so what's the difference? She has the respect of her team and they don't treat her as a side show, they treat her the same, and I'm guessing that's what she wants.
