@@harrynelson9203 Harry, it's crazy isn't it?...and to think that she was flying commercially in 1976...and at mach 2...lol (twice the speed of sound) I remember watching both British and French Condordes landing at exactly the same time back then..they had the TV screens divided horizontally so we could see the display.....All planes should be flying at these speeds today!!

@@harrynelson9203 Yes Harry, i actually watched it live on TV at the time...but when i was a kid, i really couldn't imagine the speed of sound...It really was some feat of engineering for the time!...but i do agree with you about how things have gone in recent times...look at the style of cars in the 1950's-60's, with fins and chrome and lots of style!..and then the 1970's with the Capri, the Ford Escorts and Lotus etc...i agree my friend, things have gone down hill ever since...we will never see the like again unfortunately....and i also agree, someone on Concorde today, would sue for getting light headed going at that speed...lol
