This one reminded me of sitting around a campfire with my friends high in the Rockies above Denver. Just staying warm and toasty enjoying the company eating hot dogs held over the fire on sticks, drinking some good bourbon and toasting smores for afterwards.
I had my first KFC a couple weeks ago on a walk through the park and I absolutely loved it! I am unable to pick out flavors like you do, but you hit on one in the vid that was my favorite part of this cigar - namely, the smokiness you mention at 3:28. It reminded me of a campfire, which I love. This smoky flavor stayed with the cigar all the way through. I will definitely be picking up more of these...hopefully my local cigar/liquor shop still has them in stock. Thanks for the review.
★★★★★ Finally getting back into your videos, a lot of catch up ahead. Great job in describing this awesome cigar, straight off I felt I was at a BBQ when first lighting mine, this is certainly a distinctive, complex cigar. I did not now until this video what MUWAT stood for, but have had the Uzi. Thank you sir, Bright Blessings to you and yours!
Brought this cigar outside for round 2, wasn’t feeling round 2 and almost tossed it. But I lit it up, and I am presently surprised! I think this would be a great cigar to have while you’re eating some nice slow smoked brisket
Nice review. I finally purchased and toasted one up and these are great. Better than some of the so called Rated smokes I have bought. Will definitely stock up on these.
I was just able to smoke one of these, though I think it was the "chunky". I really liked it. The smell of the wrapper was Smokey like hickory. Thought it was BBQ like. Would like to get more.
Hi Tim. First time viewer. I really enjoyed your review. You are very knowledgeable and extremely well spoken (very rare on any reviews these days). I subscribed to your channel. I do have a quesiton. I have been smoking cigars off and on for about 4 years now. I am by no means experienced and still in the novice/beginner stage. I enjoy the relaxing process of smoking a cigar but I have never been able to experience the flavors of a cigar like you note in this review. Have you ever thought of making a video explaining how to teach your pallet or tips about the process of smoking a cigar to experience the full range of flavors? Thanks for your videos. I have them lined up to watch this weekend.
I don't think you can teach this. In fact, I think you, or anyone can do it. Simply let your mind go blank and let the flavors come to you. They will remind you of something you've tasted, or possibly smelled in the past. Try it. You'll see. Plus, everyone is different. We all taste things a little differently. It's very subjective.
hey Tim, first of all I would like to thank you for your nice channel I am from Italy /Milano.I got the chance to smoke this stick and I have to say that to call it a Kentucky cigars is almost a BS.I would love to see you smoking a real Kentucky puros like Toscano Originale or Toscano Antico. If you can find them just ry and let me know! All the Best Ciao
Fired up a KFC just a friend for the first time tonight. Enjoyed it while also enjoying your review. I LOVE THIS CIGAR Great reviews. Just a quick question, what is the significance of an Indian and a cigar store? Or in your case smoking room I guess you call it. I noticed you had one in the room in one of your other reviews. Thank you Tim.
I've been curious about these. Considering their ingredients, I wonder if they are similar to the old air cured Parodi cigars, which also incorporate Kentucky fire cured tobacco.
i put my MUWAT in a ziplock baggie and then threw it in my humidor, the reason i did that is when i smell it, it smells like a campfire, and i was worried it would make all my sticks reek like a campfire. still havent tried one tho.....
I actually smoke one today (fat molly) I got a few hints of sweet cedar and faint vanilla notes towards the end, I really enjoyed your video by the way.
I'm sorry Tim but your off alot. this cigar smells like chewing tobacco and it tastes like someone rolled this cigar out of hay and throw it in a fire pit and the cowboys that where around that fire pit spit all the chewing tobacco in it and then threw a bottle of lighter flued on it. this cigar I would pass on it even if some one gave me it for free.
Lol this gave me a good laugh. I have one but haven't tried it yet. The wrapper smells like a damn tire fire to me though so I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm pretty apprehensive about this one but I'll give it a try eventually.
