I don't even have the bike anymore. I sold it in 2018 due to some financial difficulties I was having at the time. But after these pipes from Drew here in the main video, about a year later, I upgraded to Drew's "Draggin" pipes which were a little louder and deeper sounding. The first ones sounded great, but the draggins were AMAZING. Still brings a little tear to my eye when I think about how much I loved that bike and I how I was basically forced to sell it. I don't know that Drew is even making or selling pipes for Vics anymore, but dude definitely knew what he was doing and is just a great guy all around. Check out this other video I made from when I was selling the bike in 2018. You can hear the "Draggins" about 1.5 minutes in. They sounded soooooo good! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1wD_Y66WlRU.html
Your neighbors love you as much as mine love me. I bless them with warm deep Victory tones early in the morning and again late at night! LOL Nice vid the pipes sound good!
Victory make the best looking baggers :) dang it that exhaust of yours sounds like steak on a plate i just want to eat it. Sounds so nice thanks for sharing.
looks and sounds good. Even though this is the last year of the Victory, which is a sad thing. They are awesome bikes. I looked into this bike last year, I'm so short I looked like a midget on it, lol. I was able to put both feet down....well tip toes. But still considering a victory as a next or second bike. for now I will ride my Sporty unit some more money comes my way, or done paying for the Sporty. beautiful bike
Where is Drew Miller mufflers located....I'm currently stationed in Italy and will be buying a victory and replacing the stock pipes. What is the address to millers exhaust. If u need my email please let me know. They sound awesome by the way.m wish I had them here in Italy.......would love to here them as I go over mountain passes in the Dolomites.
Marty Did you do anything else to you bike or was it just the Miller pipes? also i seems to back pop a lot when you are slowing down will that damage anything?
At the time I made the video I only had the Miller Mufflers and those exhaust tips on the bike. The popping you hear got better when I did a few more mods to it down the road including a PCV (power commander). I've heard that some minor popping is normal and won't do anything bad to the bike. If it's more constant, though, then that can definitely do some damage to your bike and should be fixed.
hello there. I'm wanting the same bike but wondering about fitment. I notice you are pretty big guy. I'm 6'6" 300+lbs. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.
Hey, Charles. I'm not nearly as tall as you, I'm only 6'1", but this bike is the most stretched out and comfortable bike I've ever ridden. I know guys even taller/bigger than me, all the way up to your height, that swear by these bikes. Personally, I've ridden many HD's and Indians, and none of them have come close to my Magnum as far as comfort. When you also consider the stock horsepower and torque, the looks, handling, and price, I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better bike than Victory makes, especially the Cross Country.
charles johnson I am 6'6" and 400 lbs. the magnum and cross country are by far the best fitting bike I've been on. I feel very proportionate when sitting on it compared to a HD street or road glide
I will definitely try this bike. I have a 2014 SCL Raider and the bike fits me amazingly. I put on 5" forward controls and it really stretched me out. I'm 6'3 370lbs. This might be my second bike to add with my raider.
I'm pretty darn heavy and it's great for 2 up riding. Keep in mind that even though it's lowered an inch, you can still add air to the rear shock for when you know you'll have more weight on the bike.
Marty Overfelt ok..thanks. it's such a sweet looking and sounding bike but I like both of the victory tourer as well. a hard decision awaits. ...one more question...is the sterio/sound system good at interstate speed?
Yeah, it's good as long as you put a little taller windshield on it than the one that comes stock, which, you'd probably want to do anyway. I recommend "Windvest". I'm running their smoked 11 inch screen and it works and looks great. Really cuts down on the wind noise and buffeting at highway speeds (and helps you hear the stereo better).
Good looking bike and sounds great. But I can't help to feel how cheap the bike felt when I test drove one last month on demo day. Maybe I need to demo one again. I loved the Indian tho. I'm trying to an add a bagger in addition to my FXDL. 👍
Tanisha Chatman. Guy named Drew Miller up in Minnesota makes 3 different baffles for the Victory bikes. One I had at the time was his mid, I've got the loudest one he makes on there now. I'll try and get you his contact info.
Those were his loudest ones to date. He tells me he's done a couple louder ones now, but they're having some issues with popping. Popping on mine is minimal, and should go away altogether once I get it tuned. Exhaust tips were separate, didn't come from Drew.
I believe Drew charges around $350 per set (+or-). But then when you send your old cores to him after you receive his, he gives you like a $100 rebate. Ends up being like $250'ish. Best deal on the market for that sound.
