I did my first video on this trick a little over a year ago--since then, however, I’ve found a much better way to teach it that opens the door for a number of excellent transitions. The first step is to learn a 4-beat superman and gradually work your way to being able to perform this move pulling your hand far enough away from your body each time to allow the horizontal poi to turn into a pendulum. Switching back and forth between these two moves is pretty easy once you get this down!
