Oh no, first i was looking so forward to the bright future it seemed that Drupal would have. But now that it's going to be built on React i'm out. Drupal already doesn't have the best code quality, but now this ugly JavaScript / HTML mix, i'm out. Going to need a new CMS. And he's also hoping to attract Javascript developers. Why? 99% of react developers are script kiddies who don't have a clue about real programming. Why not use Angular / TypeScript? Or just stay with PHP? This is so unbelievable bad. This is going to kill Drupal.
This is absolute nonsense. Complete and utter nonsense. You're either a troll or an idiot. Not entirely sure which. "99% of react developers are script kiddies who don't have a clue about real programming" - did you honestly think this through before posting it? Grow up.
React has been used on the Drupal front-end for years - there's nothing new about that. It works well, but is part of the growing trend that website development is entirely led by 'creative' design and front-end gimmicks. Drupal used to be a CMS for Managing Structured Content, but it has progressively become a dump for unstructured wysiwyg content and visual layout. And then we have to migrate this content soup from multiple previous sites into a new 'shiny' one!
