What I love about drifting is that it doesn't matter what kind of car you have or what it looks like. In other forms of racing people will give you shit for having a crappy car, but in drifting most cars are pieced together with different colors everywhere. It's awesome. Keep drifting fun!

I want more videos of the half cut coupe! That things is awsome! And to the people saying they'd rather see clean drift cars obviously dont actually drift. It's not about what it looks like it's about the feeling you get when your doing it. It becomes an addiction.

Finally the answer. We were street drifting at like 1 in the morning and he hit a pole sideways at about 50mph. It pretty much ripped the back of the car off. So he cut the whole back off added a fuel cell and tube frame the back end. Then made tabs to attach widebody and the bumper over it. In the video he had just started the rebuild, now the car is finished and has a 2JZ. I'll most likely be getting some shots of it this coming season.

So true! Who says you need a shiny, mint car to drift? From time to time I drift my lifted, old beat up Jeep Comanche with the VERY few drifters near me and even though I always spin out or hit the barrier when my tires grab, it's still fun! I don't think I've EVER had somebody come up to me and say my truck is shit or I suck at drifting.

My first car was an 83 toyota celica with 82,000 miles that i got for $500. Fun times in that thing for sure.

I wonder if that one 240 drifts better or worse without half of the rear end lol

RX7s are good for drifting bone stock. I have a 1991 FC3C (Convertible FC RX7), and I was able to break it loose in second gear going uphill. If you get an RX7, get an FC. The amount you'd spend on a FD RX7, could buy an FC with enough left over for some respectable bolt-on horsepower gains. Mine has 121k original miles on it, and with Royal purple oil, 91 octane from Shell, and a performance module from ACD, I'm making almost 30 more horsepower at the wheels than a Turbo2 Fc makes at the crank.

The blue car at 3:54? It's a PS13, same car as the S13 but with a notchback design and a different front end The grey Skyline is an R33 if I'm not mistaken. Can't say I know Skylines that well though.

there was a guy at my local track here in Monroe washington with a 350z called the zombie Z that he rolled, he ended up cutting the roof and ass end off of it, using a snowboard as a spoiler, the car is a monster, with a 5.6 nissan v8 in it.
