My review of the SimMagic Alpha Mini direct drive wheel. Taking a look at how easy it is to setup with content manager as well as a few videos of driving with the wheel. YT-Chris Licup- Hawkeye's Drift Garage
That is crazy to me (in a good way) to see you rocking those exact pedals in 2022 still. I took like a 10 year break from sim racing and these were my previous pedals that I absolutely loved the shit out of. Been trying to search for the same feel I got with them in a modern set of pedals now that I'm back into sim racing. Also gone VR full time now (tried it a decade ago on DK2 and new it was the future but needed at least a decade to be good enough for full time and here we are now haha). Looking into a new wheelbase too, Simagic line has caught my eye. Trying to decide between Alpha and Alpha U with FX Pro (for the additional 2 paddle shifters).
Dude with all the current issues in finding a decent jdm to build a drift car out of; I never even thought of a Lincoln LS. Seems like such a perfect setup for comfy daily/weekend drift car.
Yup, pay the drift tax, plus ford luxury car tax, plus rare as fuuuck tax. The car has 2000 manual transmissions ever made, came with a shitter v6, and no aftermarket support, easier and cheaper to find a clapped out 240.
Man I've been curious about simmagic they look really good and have the same QR as Moza Wich is what I use with a set of CRP loadcell pedals eventually I'll get a R12 DD base also I started my sim racing journey with a g29 to best bang for the buck wheel set up period especially when you pay $249 for it the Moza though is amazing 😍
