Drifting Eggs At The Tekapo Canal | Huge Trout Fishing NZ 

Last weekend we travelled too the famous Tekapo Canal in search of the monster trout it is known for. The fishing despite being kinda slow wasn't too bad. Lachie landed a 20.5lb rainbow and I managed too hook into a MONSTER brown trout, estimated at 25-30lb before it pulled the hook right at the bank. A smaller rainbow about 13lb then grabbed hold of my egg before running into another fisherman's line and snapping off. I feel like I'm getting a bit better at fishing these waterways and hopefully that means some big fish in the near future. Thanks for watching and see ya'll next time.
