#Drifting Nissan 370z in #AssettoCorsa at the #TokyoDrift parking lot using a Thrustmaster Steering wheel setup with handbrake, shifter and pedals! Unfortunately I couldn't use the Tokyo Drift song in the background!
“You know what DK stands for?” “Donkey Kong?” “Drift King!!” “Drift?......What do you mean drift?” (Tires Screeching) (cars drifting around the parking lot) “You still need a dictionary ?”
@@waider The gearing is just wayy too low if he's maxing the revs like that the whole time, should have been adjusted. Could easily be done even in a very high HP car like that without bouncing off the limiter the whole time.
No lol it's a replay. He's playing purely in cockpit mode, which is impressive on its own. Edit: nevermind, this is an old video, he's changing the cameras, my bad.
@@Matthew-is2co haha thats actually true but i mean whatever happens then happens lol, life too short to worry about being on rev limiter for too long lol
@@ChimsThoughts Say's the manufacturer's, In drifting you do things on purpose that are damaging the car in the long run like clutch kicking. Not to mention your basically trying to break traction. Also "to do".
No... No it wasn't. That man stall drifted so many times lol plus those physics look ass. This coming from the guy that made the first drift mod pack on assetto.
@@mura-moto ik they don't bounce off the rev limiter all the time I was saying to the other guy that he is drifting so he is staying in the best gear for drifting
@@DJRS9045 you don't know.. drift racers don't bounce the Rev all the time... They do it to push the max speed and torque of the gear and then if they need more speed or torque they put another gear..
bro i swear this is the most satisfying thing to watch. im not even going to lie. and at 4k dammm this looks way too good and finally my new monitor can actually go 4k xD
When youre on the throttle and tapping the clutch when hitting corners, does that maintain power, or give the car more power? Ik the handbrake is helping you shave some speed and get slidey.
so technically you are giving the car more power, but you are removing your throttle from being engaged to the wheel. so you are disengaging the clutch, while maintaining or increasing throttle if that makes sense. (Wheels no spin faster but motor still go vroom vroom)
I'm always impressed by these! I do some sim racing myself and have tried drifting with the setup and man is it hard. Hats off to you! You make it look easy.
I played you parking garage in Forza I just made a new Supra in Forza horizon 5 I like it and now I play it more and I fell in the trap love your maps keep it up
not once since most drift purpose build engines are build to withstand it, what would fail more likely is clutch or exhaust manifold melting but engine would still survive. even in FD they mostly have 1 spare engine just incase but lots never need to swap it
