Not the start to the season that we hoped for! Car problems combined with a less than desirable track it was a recipe for disaster at round one of Drifmasters. We will be assessing the cars and getting them sorted for round 2 where we hope to turn things around and get back on fighting form. Although I'm rooting for Heinonen, it's still really sad to see Shanahans get out of the game too early. Especially if it is car related problems and not in the driver itself. Hope u guys get your machines fixed and put a great show in next round. Without strong Irish drifters DMEC would be pretty boring, u guys rock! Can't wait to see u live full sending in Finland and Poland this year

Amazing even getting three new build cars there in such a short time frame in the first place, no other team has did this so be super super proud of you all team friends family and drivers, amazing

Not the best weekend but team will learn and get stronger, still plenty of positives and was more drag masters than drift masters as track did not suit, great vid, real vid, next round lads be possessed, can’t wait

I enjoyed the track layout just unfortunate the irish and piotr didnt do better. This layout reminded me of waching Jack on the fast RDS tracks. Looking forward to Dmec mondello :)

I was watching all weekend super fast track and it's not a easy track either. Just had bad luck. But Team Shanahan will be back for Round 2 and fighting on home track.

Unlucky start to the season, maybe get the cars rewired by a reliable race proven loom builder and jack, scrap the fancy electronic throttle body for a reliable ould cable. Drift masters is know for being technical, not this "American aggressive" drifting, which seems to be infecting Europe. Its not good. Drivers being rewarded for contact and damage should not happen, even if it is "exciting" to watch.

the track layout reminded me of FD,hopefully this doesnt become a regular thing in driftmasters going forward because it will ruin the best parts of it

@@belfastbuilt MAYBE he's only champion because he had a some what reliable car last year, this year he doesn't, and MAYBE, it's more practical to try offer solutions (wether listened to or not) to someone who obviously has problems, like if you hear they have wiring feedback issues and throttle body issues, it's reliability is the problem. Too fix it, offer solutions, and there nothing more reliable than a cable fed throttle body. So, rather than saying, "ah shur he is the champ, he don't need any help", i chose to offer my two cents. Nice to see you are speaking for him on his behalf. Big clap on the back for you my lad. You are a proud boy.

@@user-sk4wf3ve6z reminds me more of the swedish drift masters round, it's basically identical to it, from how it looks on camera, just with a slower initiation and a bigger and faster final outside zone. I'm not sure which FD track it resembles tho.

@@panhagerty5098 it's not so much any particular FD track but more so how it is set up for speed and is less technical than say mondello for example
