Drilling Demo: Preparing for Piercing Metal 

We're preparing to pierce our metal (cut out shapes from within the metal.)
In order to thread the saw blade through the metal, we need to drill holes into it. But before we can drill, we need to prep the metal by telling the drill bit where to sit, exactly where we want to drill it.
I show you how to tap dents into the metal with a steel block, a rawhide mallet, and a center punch.
Always make sure to place those dents (drill holes) where they can be SAWN AWAY. Never place them ON a border for a pierced shape, but rather, INSIDE, or WITHIN the shape.
