This was a very long process. The video here simply shows some of the hours of intense digging that took place. This was a 2 day process as the first day last week, part of the drilling bit broke and everything came to a halt. The next day, the broken bit was replaced and drilling continued.
By late morning on the second day, we struck good water at 430 feet and they took it down to another 35 feet to complete the 465 ft deep well. The cost of the digging was not cheap. over 12K. The projected pump and pump tank with all the connections is estimated at another 8k. Thus, this is a whopping $20,000 dollar major dig to provide water to the homestead/family and future live stock.
