Try this tip, use a guide hole first, 2-3mm. When the main hole is cut, seal the raw glass in the hole with a good quality sealant, this helps stop any "blowing" of the glass when the water gets into it.

I thought the vents were supposed to run port to starboard vs bow to stern. That way when running down the lake they scoop air into the live well. Lets us know how they work this summer. It might be a good upgrade for me too make.
