I'm on a bagpipe making journey myself and am glad you are willing to share your knowledge. I have been a highland piper since I was eight years old, and I have always been enamored by the replica of the Iain Dall chanter and waterloo drones.

Thank you, Julian, for the fascinating glimpse behind the curtain. I am always interested to discover how things are made and I am particularly pleased to see that bagpipes, most visceral of beasts that they are, require tooling and techniques which take feel, adjustment, more feel, a cup of tea and then a burr on the edge. 54 minutes have simply flown by and it is indeed now my bedtime. Why does he connect the gun drill to a compressor, is it to suck out the wood chips?
