When I interned with Grand Hustle in 08/09, Dro was one of THE most humble Artists that would be in the Studio. He will actually TALK to you like a regular guy with absolutely ZERO arrogance. Most of the ARROGANT artists in ATL are transplants to the city and not really from there. He's STUPID talented and real life, FUNNY AS SH*T!!!

I forgot what interview it was but Dro explained that Tip didn’t hold him back. He actually lost focus after Tip was incarcerated. Matter-of-fact the whole crew said the same thing about themselves. Tip is the head of the body and they weren’t motivated to move when he got incarcerated. If Tip was the problem they still wouldn’t be rocking with him til this day.
