I know everyone is different but when I had a kidney stone I was vomiting because of the pain. Sitting, standing, moving was incredibly painful. I’m not sure he could have endured that without saying anything during a family dinner, but if he did WOW he’s a champ.

The dynamic you two have remind me of a childhood friend I had haha it didn't end well but we were also like 12? Anyway I TOTALLY understand being irrationally angry at certain sounds I'm not particularly annoyed by hiccups like simisie is but I get aggravated at continuous yawns. It makes my blood boil for absolutely no reason.

There's a disorder called Misophonia that isn't recognized by the DSM yet but has considerable backing because of the way people afflicted by it react to certain auditory triggers. My biggest trigger is whistling, the sound is disorienting and makes me irrationally angry. Sounds a lot like Kayla with hiccups and you with yawning. I can't offer any solutions but it helped me to know that there's an explanation so I wanted to share.

It's so interesting to hear that Simsie has Swedish heritage! I've been watching her for 4 years now and have always thought that she looks so much like how my grandmother did when she was in her 20s. Could of course not have anything to do with ethnicity or cultural heritage but it's a really interesting coincidence I think. P.S. hey bestie :) here's the thing with the hiccups: they're only loud if you let them out, you can keep them in by keeping your mouth closed. but like. it hurts more if you keep it in. I get them all the time and it sucks. but also if the turns were tabled I would totally feel the same as kayla, they're literally so annoying to listen to
