I am like 3 weeks in to learning to do things with epoxy resin, and I feel like I hit the jack pot with your channel. I am a hobby cake decorator and I am attempting to make a 3D dragon tumbler that I thought was an original idea..NOT…lol…like cake decorating I have noticed so many wonderful people like yourself willing to share their talents with newbies like me. Thank you.

I too went from cake decorating to tumblers 3 years ago. Love the 3D tumblers too. Hint. To make your dragon scales pop use Mica Flakes. Amazon sells them. It gives a really sparkly effect. You can make scales with dish soap bubbles in UV resin. It is a lot more fun than placing scales on and hoping you get it covered well enough with epoxy. Happy Crafting!

Cute cup and love the corn starch trick!! I've been looking for a way to do it because I'm epoxy free. If you don't like epoxy you should try Crystalac products and ditch it for good. Then you can get out of your shed and do your tumblers in the house. If you have the space lol. There's no PPE needed. I apply it with my bare hand. It's that safe. Come on out of the shed with me and thousands of others Courtney! No more space heaters and blow torches. No more bubbles and fish eyes. It's a different process but better for you. The cost equals out to the same because you're not buying gloves, mixing cups & stir sticks, masks and no buying tons of spray paint. But you can use up what you have. Go check it out!

I had this held up. I bought a cup last year. I can tell it was done with corn starch and mod podge. Its pulling up and resin is cracking. Im also baffles how an hour of dry time for mod podges and corn starch was enough time to dry for resin. Im wanting to fix my cup because its the prettiest i have boughten. The drip came completely off.

How long till you epoxy the drip? And how long for the whole cup to dry?
@CourtneysCustoms
@CourtneysCustoms Год назад
I wait overnight for the drip to dry so let’s just say 12 hours. I epoxy once every 24 hours until smooth

It seems like that much mod podge in drips should cure or dry more than an hour. Did you have any trouble after using them?

Nope, no trouble at all😊
