My wife and I live there for 4 Months every Year since 2001, and know all these streets, it is one of the healthiest places in the world to live, because of the Salt Lakes anyone with ant sort of pain will feel a lot better here.......
Oh wow. A blast from the past. I used to work at the Tabacos shop that shows up at the 6:54 time-stamp about 10 years ago. I need to go back there soon! Wonderful place to live.
I love torrevieja i lived there for 10 years in los altos just outside torrevieja i wouid love if you drive around there so i can show my family were i lived for all those years.
Thanks for the vlog. Going to Playa los locos . In a few weeks time for the first time. I was wondering what its like .......... So its like Blackpool ! 😂. But seriously . It was nice to see the seafront and what to expect . 😁👍
We did. We were in the Apartments Altea del Mar. A short walk from the beach. Your video helped us a lot. Finding our way around Torrevieja. A long walk to the Centre. Might try somewhere near there next time. But had a great time thanks. 😊👍
I just returned from Torrevieja, the city is the same from what it when i bought a flat decade ago.Bets ecology and clean air with affordable prices is something that must encourage future visitors to the resort. Will be uploading recent vlogs shortly .
Thanks for the tour matt. I'm getting to know my way around and it's sure nice. Parking wouldn't be a problem because I don't drive. Definitely want to move there.
Hi Matt great video 👍🏻 I’ve been visiting Torrevieja for many’s years first as a lorry driver then as a tourist lol 😆 We’ve just bought a house in Sucina last year and visit Torrevieja occasionally as my partner prefers La-Zenia Boulevard lol 😆 I enjoy your video. Thanks Stevie 😎🇬🇧
I am from Spain Barcelona. I leave in the USA for 30 years. I can't wait to go back to Spain soon . I am looking in the alicante area. What is better to buy or to rent?
Great video very formative ... spent 10 days here in sept and loved it ... was wondering what was weather like in mid November ,might take a trip back .?
Parking in Torrevieja is a nightmare, even on the winter months. You're very lucky if you can find a free place in the town centre...My advice would be to park a bit out of the centre, and give yourself a ten minute walk,or so. Less stressful, just don't forget where you left the damn thing !
Jodie April Mae I drive in New York. But I’m from Spain and they have some of the best drivers period. They’re very strict in giving out drivers licenses. Germany and Norway also have great drivers.
MASA HOTEL !!!!!!!! IS VERY BAD Bad bad bad hotel. TRUST ME!!!!!! ONLY THE VIEW IF YOU WERE DREAMING. YOU CAN ONLY FIND IT I N THE ANY BATHROOM WINDOW OF THE HOTEL. THEY KICK CUSTOMERS EASY NO RESPECT. IF YOU MAKE BOOKING FROM BOOKING.COM OR TRIVAGO. YOU WILL LOSE. REGARDS.
Thanks for this. I saw where we were parked up, on the beach, (At time 22.37) with our Caravan. Not supposed to, (No Notices for this, but "Motorhomes", are OK) but the police, (after I spoke to them, in their car, on the beach) were understanding, and did not bother us, (March, April). However, we understood, that "Caravans", would be moved on, off of the beach, later in the season, fair enough! If you do park there, on a beach, do not put any tables out, and look as if you are "Camping" A chair, or two, is OK, but that's all. Well done the Police, it helped us an awful lot, as our money was running out, and the cost of a Campsite there, is quite expensive, at around 20 Euros a night, but more, later in the season. Torrevieja, is a lovely place, we found the people, friendly, and it's an inexpensive place to eat out, (Except the Sweedish resturant, opposite the beach, (At exactly 22.51, their name is "Roosvllys", or something like that) where we were, it's VERY EXPENSIVE!, but then, they are not Spanish!) We totally recommend "Torrevieja", a great place!
The issue around parking seems to be a thing this year. Seen it appearing more in Facebook groups. Personally I have no issue with it as people are pretty much minding their own business. Not seen any rubbish or damage, however heard the odd person saying this and that. But I prefer to take it with a pinch of salt as sometimes people complain so they have something to complain about.
Sorry if I’m rude, but have you driven from England down there? We’re driving from Norway next year and in the planning at the moment. Do you have like a blog of it or anything? Could use some pointers 😁☀️🍻
Rude? No. We drove through France, then into Spain, along the coast, stopping at a few places, we took about a week to get to Torrevieja. We found the "Police", in France, very unfriendly, as they realy do not like Caravans, parked up, on the road, or even off of the road, for more than "Overnight".
Your welcome! Anything that you may want to know, about this place, or getting there, just ask. We did stay in "Denia", on the way back, for a month or so, which is also a very nice place. Best regards,.. Geoff.
