Drive-By Truckers - Sinkhole [REACTION] 

I worked for New West Records for a few years in the early 2000's. I did promotions work in support of Decoration Day and The Dirty South in the North East US. Got to do a bunch of shows with DBT and took alot of amazing photos for the label (and myself). Hung out with all the dudes back in the day and had such a blast. All of them were great down to earth guys. I got to fly down to Athens, GA to attend the record release party for Decoration Day at the 40 Watt Club. The guys and their crew were so gracious and welcoming. They shared thier beer with me backstage even! Those were some good times, let me say.

I don’t like country, but will listen to DBT all day. “Lookout Mountain” and “Let There Be Rock” are faves. “Carl Perkins Cadillac” is sweet. Hits that spot.

I would encourage everyone who's a fan to seek out the Trucker's 2011 career documentary called "Secret To A Happy Ending". Great career retrospective that was mostly filmed during the time the band split with Jason Isbell. It's on dvd
