I have the Solax genie plus mobility scooter at the moment but after a few problems I’ve decided to upgrade. It is my husband who is disabled but I am the person who has to handle the scooter. I would advise anyone buying this type of scooter to have a hoist put in the car. I am fit and can lift a full suitcase quite easily. I was unable to lift our scooter into the car. Definitely the advert should be with a disabled person using it to give a completely true insight into its handling. Showing that gentleman lifting it as if it was a bag of feathers is a joke but not so funny if you believe it.
With the scooter folded and the tiller raised, do all 4 wheels roll, and is the scooter stable enough in this position to be used as a rollator? It would be a little awkward to pull this scooter with one hand and use a walking stick with the other.
