@@hello.8496 Well think about it like this. Imagine knowing someone suffers from anxiety, (in this case, anxiety when ordering at a drive thru). In addition, this same person has also expressed that they don’t like to be filmed. Now given these two pieces of information, do you think intentionally recording and messing with someone in a situation in which they are already uncomfortable helps this person overcome anxiety? Or could it be possible that this adds a greater deal of stress and anxiety? I think her father has very good intentions and isn’t doing this to be malicious. I just wouldn’t go as far as to say this is helping someone overcome anxiety, when it is clear (to me) that she was getting increasingly uncomfortable.
The fact that a teenage girl has enough of a sense humor to laugh it off, and order you the big chalupa you wanted is pure greatness. Please put out more videos like this!
Frankly, though, I think the whole teenage angst and disillusionment, that will lead to kids cussing out their parents our getting angry in this type of situation comes from a place of not necessarily getting that emotional fulfillment/satisfaction and therefore feeling disconnected. If your child is disconnected, that kinda thing is more likely. I think its important for them to really feel loved and to connect on a deep level, rather than a superficial one, and tbh, I think its pretty rare.

But it's good that the dad is putting them into situations like this. My parents always did everything for me so by the time I was an adult I was still anxious about the most basic things like ordering in a restaurant, not to mention things like going to the bank or paying bills.
@@redhidinghood9337 Same bro my parents always complained about me being like this, but they also never sent me doing anything, so by now I'm 20 and is the most socially anxious person I know.

I am jealous of this man... I have a daughter, son and daughter not too far from the same ages. I made some very bad choices in life. It has resulted in divorce and a lot of other things. I had always thought I was a great father... but I wasn't. Watching these videos... it is both warming and sad for my soul.

I can relate to this. My fiancé and I have this Sunday morning routine going to McDonalds and we get the usual. But one day, she said as I was ordering, "hmm idk...I might choose something different". And my anxiety skyrocketed and I was gripping the steering wheel with this ninja grip because she couldn't decide. I don't know why I get like that.
I suffer from anxiety and drive thrus are the worst especially when people you're with don't know what the hell they want. How many times does one have to read the menu at Mcdonalds? Im fine when im by myself.
This is called exposure therapy for Anxiety. Anxiety is a state of fear. You can overcome by exposing to the same stimuli that make you anxious again and again.
lol abby.. youre not alone, i too have major drive thru anxiety.. i make people tell me what they want when were 5 cars behind and reherse everytime i move up 🤣🤣 and everytime someone adds something i cringe from the inside out, idk what it is, and why i feel so flustered and like i have to rush but, youre not alone !
