Takes me back. I was heavily involved in this programme during filming at my old workplace, and remember running that Rolls down the runway just before the shoot. The location is in Essex, and is shortly about to be "developed"
@@TheJohnlyh Yeah. The (post 2004) W211 was a good car, the W204 was quite good too. I like the W124 (rear wheel bearing changes aside!) but just can't stand the rust. The e28/34 was nowhere near as bad, the Audi 100/A6 galvanized.
@@ChrisPatrick-q6k i own a 2010 w204 and previously a 1994 w124 both cars are really solid and reliable, parts are plentiful. As for rust i live in Malaysia, cars don't rust here but the issue is paint, at tropical climate the paint is easily gone after 6-8 years
Who would have thought that Mike Brewer would have grown to be the actual size now that he was inflated up to be all those years ago in the Fat Cat test!
Bit of a nitpick but I wouldn't have bought any Mercedes-Benz after 1998 probably, when that model of S-Class was launched. The acquisition by Chrysler just seemed to trigger a downward trajectory of interior quality?
