Sköt mina 12-15 första älgarna med 6,5 men såg att det inte var riktigt bra. Sköt några med 300 och 338 använde 375 h&h ca 25 år. Nu sen 10 år ramlar dom för wby, några kvar till 100 👍
I like your videos... But this is Exactly why Swedish moosehunters doesent like Danish hunters. I have seen you shoot 2 bulls now.. this one with 6 (six!) shots... i think the other one was 5 shots..
Jimbo Starfighter dear jimbo. I know...🤦♂️ but it’s not a “Danish” thing! That Bull was injuried and the dog chased it for 22 km.! I hit it 4 times on the shoulder and it didn’t stop!! I then shot it on the neck as it was turning on the dog! An old swedish moose hunter once told me: “you Can only injure a moose once! So keep shooting until it drops!” I dont know what you would have done differently? I Will never stop shooting on a wounded animal! And if I had to, i would have shot more than 5 times!!
@@JacobKamman What caused the injury to that bull? i agree you Shouldn´t stop shooting.. but one single shot behind the shoulder is all it takes. And if for some reason you cannot make it a lung/heartshot on the first try.. then don´t shoot.
Jimbo Starfighter the first hunter hit the Bull in the front leg and maybe somewhere else we didn’t know where the second shot hit. So in my view the Bull was injured and had to be shot! I hit it right on the shoulder 4 times all of Them Lung shots. To be fair the 4 shots were delivered quickly and the Bull only Walked 50 meters... i could see him standing on wobly legs but he started to lash out after the dog! The dog was Young and i was worried that it might get injured, so i shot the last shot on the neck to drop the Bull before he hit the dog...
@@JacobKamman Well that makes 2 shooters and 7 rounds... and a whole lot of meat to throw away. The one thing you did right is trying to finish off a wounded animal.. but that first shoulder hit already did that. And the Bull you shot on the meadow.. that first shot was a clean killshot. then you fired 3 shots basically in it´s ass before finishing it off with a final round. You make good videos and i hope you will keep doing so. Cheers
