Anyone else here in 2022 clinging to their childhood nostalgia? I never got to finish the game but this was satisfying to watch, thanks 🙏🏻

Back when I came to this mission for the first time, the traffic always got in the way for me too. And I agree with your other statement also, this was a long journey for Tanner and Tobias haha.

That's hilarious so they originally intended Driver 3 to come out in 2002

Caine and Vasquez were both separate gang leaders (Caine runs Chicago's gangs and Vasquez is the Brazilian gang boss). Basically, Vasquez wanted to expand his operation north to Chicago. Caine, of course, isn't happy about Vasquez and the Brazilians wanting to take over their Chicago turf. In a nutshell, that's basically where their hatred for each other stemmed from.

I remember memorizing this sequence to try and get ahead of the chopper wreck before it "crashed".. those very last turns are there to slow down the player

all i have to say about this mission is? I HATE IT SO Much its so bloody Hard it took me a long time to finish this damn level and the game screws me over right at the end were it tells me you lost sight of the chopper at the end GRRRRRRRRRRR I hated that

I think Tanner was getting too big for his shoes trying it with Jericho don't you think.

The sound effect from Jericho's sawed off shotguns is also used for the Colt Python in the original Resident Evil as well as for the Desert Eagle for its sequel.

who is chasing Tanner at the end? it looks like Jones's car but it might be Jericho !!

@ezescousin14213 He was asked what more there was besides Lenny between the Caine and Vasquez. As Tanner and Jones had already realised there was some other connection but didnt know what. The shot of Caine and Vasquez shaking hands at the end reveals that they both have the same tattoo. The same tattoo the dead guy in the morgue at the start had which identified him as one of the gang. This means that either Caine and Vasquez used to be partners, or Caine used to work for him,

1000Vlogs, you pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding the President's Run mission. The limo's handling combined with the snowy weather makes it an incredibly hard mission, even if the limo is strengthened. Plus you have the FBI on you (and they are MUCH harder and crazier than the regular police). Even still, I get headaches when I know that mission is coming in New York haha. At least with this mission the chopper gives you chances to catch up to it if you fall behind.

Looks like Vasquez got eyes and ears throughout Rio as they spotted Tanner chasing Lenny.

So I've been stuck on DRIVER & DRIVER 2 last missions for 20 years etc. Literally just completed both in the past 2 days i feel so accomplished 😂. I also agree DRIVER 1 last mission is 3683646% harder & more frustrating

He should've let Jericho walk and taken down Lenny togethor. Him and Jericho made a good team! And this mission had no time limit!

The chopper was at the EXTREME tip of my radar. If he would have gone straight, it without a doubt would have been a failed mission for me. I think it was because of him turning that gave me time to catch up to him. But yea, this mission took me a while to beat back when I first was playing this game.

I think my version of the game must be broken or something, i never crush a single car and i still can't beat this mission, u did and still the chopper waits for you -.-

Recently made some replays and edited the camera angles and saved them on VHS and with teh replay with this mission I once had stuff to happen. Completed this, saved a replay. Watched it later, from that Mission Completed menu, saved the game. Result: after load the 2nd cutscene plays, then the end credits with the sounds from 3rd-6th cutscenes. If one watches a replay and chooses Restart from the Mission Completed menu, one can play a mission using another disc, i.e. Disc 2 mission on Disc 1.

It was probably some person that recognized Tanner and decided to engage in pursuit. Maybe they were signifying that a sequel was to be released (and that the story would continue)? To be honest, I never really quite got who that was, but it probably could be interpreted multiple ways.

I know, tell me about it right???!!!! I was livid when I uploaded this and found out that the audio was muted. This was the first video I uploaded that caught my attention to having copyrighted material. But believe me, I too was like geez, its just a walkthrough RU-vid, no need to throw copyright matters in my face.

If you are talking about this video, this is the PSX version played on a PSX emulator on the computer. There is no actual PC version to this game. There's only the PSX version and the GBA version also.

Why did they make the AI so stupid? In the first game they were really fine avoiding other cars and walls while chasing you. Here are just dumber...

i got used to this mission so i know where should i go. You dont have to keep the chopper in front of you or you will lose it in the final part where it gets a lot fast..

I'm guessing that he meant that it took him a while (meaning the whole game) to figure out what was going on between Caine, Vasquez, and Lenny. Caine and Vasquez at one point (mentioned in Chicago Mission 4) say they're going to team up to take down Lenny. At the end of the game though, they are back to hating each other again. I think the whole time, both Caine and Vasquez hated Lenny, and it took Tanner the whole game to figure that out. At least that's what I got out of it.

so did we get to know what lenny knew that was so important to both parties? or what else was between these two? we didn't even see Vasquez's face? bruh I'm glad I didn't care about story when I was a kid :))

I tried uploading this to Google Video before posting it on Megavideo but even Google Video has gotten strict with their music and audio standards... I wish everything could go back to a couple of years ago when these video hosting sites didn't even care about audio content and copyright.

In order to cheat in Driver 2, you either have to beat the game normally or use a Gameshark with the game. There are no official button combinations to press on the title screen or what not. It's simply a matter of beating the game and using the cheats that the game gives you from there.

The end of this mission is so fucking sadistic. You make it all the way to the end only to have the chopper pull away from you at the last goddamn second or the dickhead gangsters spawn right in front of you. I hate this game with every fiber of my being. EDIT: I did it. I am finally free. Farewell and good riddance to this atrocity of a game.

Yeah I know Jones is alive in Driv3r, I have a whole walkthrough on my page showing that I beat the PC version of the game... I guess the day I wrote that comment I was questioning whether Driv3r took place before or after Driver 2.

The only thing that changed since I last clicked it was this iReel box comes up before the movie plays. You click on the red play button and it will take you to this website (just close it). After that, then the video opens for me. What site are you getting your flash download from? I went to Adobe's website and there's a link for flash and shockwave.

I agree with you Mike, it is such BS that they are disabling audio due to copyright laws. I sincerely hope that RU-vid does not ban video game content for being uploaded on here!!!! That would really suck.

Yeah I figured that I was wrong, especially since Jones is alive in Driv3r. And I have played Driv3r, have a whole walkthrough on my page.

The only cheats I remember are the ones that you obtain when you complete story mode (the Invincibility, Immunity, etc.). There are also the Gameshark codes for the game. Other than those, I don't know of any other cheats for this game.

Ohhhhh no, no. I´m sorry the PC version only was for DRIV3R yes you have right. I played driver 2 only with an emulator. Driver 2 was one of the most hardest game for the PS. Greetings man from Mexico!!!
