What the hell is this "good samaritan" thinking?

I definitely wouldn’t attempt to intervene in a law enforcement operation. If the guy is fleeing the police at high speed, there’s a good chance that he’s armed. Let the professionals handle it.

@@zyglo9826 No one would intervene in a law enforcement operation, but tell me, how could these people know? There was no police for 5 minutes. For people who are passing by after one minute or so, why could it not be just an accident.

Yup. The BYRD's fly. As do many LEO's with the ASP. Jacob has a new variant of a "MFP pursuit special" now. No limiter, no "governor". It is just incredible. I have seen some where he has hit 194 MPH+ in a pursuit tail grabbing the perp's A@@ at over 151 mph. His brothers are also very good. However, Jacob is the apex from what I have seen over many years now. I read that their family has been in law enforcement in AR for over 100 years. The interesting thing is the that the ASP are extremely professional and many are also active members of the Armed Forces of the United States. Another thing is that I have seen Jacob Byrd literally save folks lives who were nearly freezing to death in their vehicle. In one presentation, he took a person in an unfortunate circumstance in very cold weather (on a relative basis in AR) to a hotel and arranged a room for the person! Incredible. I get it: CA has 50 Million People and is the 5th largest economy in the world - larger than India - and AR is relatively small in the geographical context, as well as in population/economic context. I lived in SOCAL for 15 years and really enjoy in in some ways. ASP do not play games. Once you are in their sights you better get straight with your beliefs. They do not give up. Ever. Yes, they lose some, win some. However, they win far more than they lose. It is usually just a matter of time. If they do not get you today, they will get you on another day. Every "dog has its day" so to say. Be safe out there if you dare go anywhere. Blessings.

Tinted windows did not know if he had a gun so they slammed it for safety then broke the tinted window to be able to see if he's got a weapon or not pointing at them.

Spot on! ASP and most other agencies always do. I have seen the CHP do this as well in many chases and other circumstances as well. It could have been a clown car with several perps waiting and well armed in the trunk! Maybe they had info not disclosed? However, one can never be too careful. Cheers!
