I'm from Long Beach, I hauled heavy equipment for a drilling company 20+years...You guys make one of the most high stakes critical job in the World look easy!
I really enjoy your content and channel. Your Dad, you of course and crew are Very knowledgeable and courteous when folks are all ready having a bad day. Back in the mid 1990s I drove a tow truck and worked just south of Flagstaff on I-17 so I had some bad weather, snow rescues and such but no heavy work and, as you well know, heavy towing is not for the untrained or light hearted.
Making it look easy once again. I'll bet the police are always happy to see Pepe's show up, because you get it done fast and right the first time. 👍 Man. That was A LOT of pepper!
Great teamwork. The chemistry between you guys is evident in every video! But with bad habits the unexpected will follow. A small example…. The new truck didn’t do a pull test on the king pin. You guys would have had to help them out 2x if once he tried to leave it fell right back on the ground.
@@frankbroker3698 Way too many times, I've seen the nose of a trailer sitting on the truck's frame rails... a couple of times, the trailer's legs slammed into the asphalt. Unloaded, it's embarrassing but recoverable. With a heavy load in the trailer... oops!! Hopefully, a heavy duty forklift can raise it enough to crank down the legs. When it's on the frame rails, with an air-ride tractor lift/fill the air bags. Get out and lower the trailer legs. Screw the legs down as far as you can, with a load it may not be much. Vent the truck's air bags and back under the trailer if there's enough clearance to lock onto the pin. If not, once again, hopefully, a heavy duty forklift can raise it enough to crank down the legs. It's not complicated but it sure can be tedious, especially if you have too much help standing around with lots of "advice" to offer. That's sooo helpful in an already stressful situation!! 😏👎 Worst case: You'll have to call Pepe for a "lift."
RU-vid algorithm brought me here... I'm now subscribed to your channel! Are you the owner of Pepe's? Love recovery channels! You guys Rock! Now I'm watching all your previous videos!!!!
Glad to see the algorithm is showing me love! I run the show here with my dad, but do 1000% of the video stuff including the editing that you are watching now. I'm the main one filming here
That is a wicked sweet tattoo on your left arm Josh... watching you on my 65" for the 1st time... so much better see you guys on tv... Its like I'm right there...!!!
That is the BEST way to watch since I film and upload all my stuff in beautiful 4k! If you're on the YT app, be sure to check the settings to make sure it's streamed in 4k
If I'm ever out your way Josh, I'll buy you a case of Dr. Pepper for all the enjoyment of your awesome videos you've provided for us man... Ps... a tat of the Hulk on your right are would be awesome...! Just thinking out loud taking into consideration you whole recovery theme & truck...
The average person consumes one-third of a gram of pepper per day. If I'm doing my math right, that container holds about one-fifth of the entire nation's daily consumption.
I love seeing how you rig your lifting straps. There is always something to learn. My experience has been industrial settings. How much do You lift, LOL. Nice work. You make heavy lifting look easy. Keep everyone safe.
Another textbook Pepe's rollover. Never get tired of watching them. I think that you get so many Freightliner wrecks because there are so many of them out there. Super popular brand of truck.
While I'm sure it was in some sort of container, when he said it was full of black pepper I had a vision in my mind of someone opening the doors and just a wave of loose pepper flowing out.
I'm puzzled at how often trucks just tip over in the US. I know it keeps you guys busy, but what about the safety of everyone that drives around these unsecure loads? Who's responsible for securing it?
Boss.. I broke the side mirror of the truck! Well, buy a new one and replace it That’s the problem, I cannot do that, because the truck is on top of it 😂
Is Alex’s go-pro for a channel he runs, or for extra clips for this channel??….if anyone knows, thanks in advance, I’d like to follow him also if he has his own channel, these guys together is the ultimate duo‼️‼️
It's for this. Often the GoPro and my angle are redundant so I just keep whichever angle or footage looks best. In some of my other videos I use them both a lot
Veo muchos rescates de contenedores cual es el motivo, exceso de velocidad o inexperiencia Buen trabajo y muy biena herramienta de trabajo con esas grúas impresionantes Un saludo 👋 😉
Wow ... did that rear tire on the tractor delaminate, or was that a result of the rollover? Edit: that's an INSIDE tire, no way that happened in the rollover!
That could of been a lot worse if the pepper had come out if it was ground black or white youl could of been in a world of hurt.I am a long time subscriber of Mr Ron Pratt Midwest towing.
Yeah but when you get them insurance ones do they ever pay you or do you have to take on the court and fight him I want to do a job unless they paid me up front when it comes to the insurance job
You would never get work. So CHP or the police or someone calls you for a big job, potentially $10,000 or more. You would never get an insurance agent from states away to sign off on payment up front. Of course we get paid, more often than not. The few times customer can't or refuses to pay, no problem we have his tractor and trailer we can lien. If it's wrecked and junk, there are options for that too. It comes with the territory.
Gavin recently went to China, why? He's just a governor. With a election in a few months, he could be bringing Covid 2.0. He should make enough money, so he has enough hair products. 😂
