This is set in a fictional world set in a coma! This is similar to a parody not the real world! This gameplay is frivolous insanity and hysterical! 😳😳😱😱
I'm still playing this game! I have never seen such an unique gameplay. It's so shame that Ubisoft has abandoned this franchise. But let's hope we will see a new Driver. We have no right to forget this underrated game!
@@50thsaber This game hasn't been updated for a long time for the reason that it has been deleted from all digital stores. If you have a licence version, you will have some problems with loading. But if you try to load a pirated version, you won't have any problems. Don't get me wrong, it's just my experience. Try to load this game in compatibility mode with Windows 7 or even XP. I usually load a lot of old games this way.
The gameplay is set in a coma not the real world. The gameplay of Driver: San Francisco is not a moral of the story Similar to parodies such as studio 666.
conceptually speaking this is such an underrated gem. the gameplay of ghosting into any vehicle in traffic could've been an easy thing to screw up but it just works so seamlessly and feels immediately intuitive. the creative options it opens up in a racing game are truly innovative
@@VEHICLEFAN5500you trippin son this game is a classic. I would love a new driver game I would prefer a driver 1 type but I would definitely be ok with a sequel to this.. not everything needs to be real think of it as a movie
This game has to be one of Ubisoft’s best games imo and an absolute favourite of mine!! I still can’t believe they removed it from shelves and digital stores I really hope that in the near future they remaster this game for modern consoles more people need to play it 😔
Set in a fictional world of a coma. Where John Tanner is hospitalised not the real world. Driver: San Francisco is frivolous insanity ludicrous and hysterical.
@@VEHICLEFAN5500 What's your point exactly? The moment a game isn't realistic it's complete dogshit? You do realise that's a video game and not every game has to be extremely realistic or anything like that. The Devs knew what they wanted to make and executed it perfectly if you don't like it that's fine but if you don't have good and reasonable criticisms and you're just hating it for the sake of hating then keep the shit to yourself.
@@JimmyJohnson7077 No Ubisoft made it, ironically this series was actually a competitor to the GTA series so I found that kinda funny you mentioned that.
@@VEHICLEFAN5500 Bro that doesn’t mean the game is bad. This game leaned more towards surrealism compared to the previous games but it actually benefited the game more as the devs were able to focus on making the gameplay so much more fun while being experimental with several missions to keep the player engaged. But even with that said the story still isn’t bad in fact it’s great with it’s shear level of quality and quantity of writing in the main story and side characters you can encounter throughout the game. It might lose that serious 80’s movie feel in it’s storytelling but the gameplay made up for it with it maintaining that serious 80’s movie feel to it. If the game is not your cup of tea then that would be reasonable and I would’ve understood but going out of your way to describe the game as ‘frivolous insanity ludicrous and hysterical’ is both childish and stupid.
What a blast while playing Driver SF, truly a masterpiece to me. I won't cease to enjoy this title. Quite a shame it didn't came back on gaming scene since then.
This franchise has not made a comeback. This gameplay is set in a coma not the real world. The gameplay of Driver: San Francisco is frivolous insanity ludicrous and hysterical. Similar to parodies such as studio 666.
And the gameplay of Driver: San Francisco is frivolous insanity and hysterical. Which is set in a fictional world at a coma and not the real world. John Tanner is still hospitalised.
Virtually potentially a cancellation of the franchise of Driver Wouldn’t set in a coma of a fictional world should’ve set in the real world. Which is not frivolous insanity and hysterical.
@@jamesfoo8999 I’ve would find this storyline that it’s not real. It is set in a coma of a fictional world of the city that’s unlogical unrealistic. I’ve begin talking hysterically that it is set in a hospital. 🏥 When John Tanner Says “What am I losing it Jones? What if this is all in my head?”
I know why this games is underrated, my opinion is the Dialog with all characters is so Lazy, but rest of all features and gameplay mechanics is very good
This video is absolutely incredible. I've never seen anything like it before. The attention to detail is impressive. The sound design is amazing. I love the way you used the music to enhance the mood. You're a genius! I'm definitely going to watch more of your content. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video. It's exactly what I needed to watch today. Your editing skills are top-notch. The transitions are seamless. The visuals are stunning. I love the humor in this video. You're hilarious! The driving is very floaty and drifty in this, which is fun, but wouldn't suit Watch Dogs. I do think WD1 has the best driving out of thee Watch Dogs games though. For some reason the driving got progressively worse in Watch Dogs...
Fun fact: Actually EA wanted to buy the rights of this game one month before it was due for release but at the last moment, the whole game studio rebelled and told EA that a merger was impossible and they would sabotage the whole game if it happened. So EA backed down sadly :(
The graphics is beyond ok, big disappointment is the weird game play. And you can't physically get out of the vehicle that's a huge mistake for such a beautifully designed SF.
Ah, Driver: San Francisco, a classic game! Watching a full game walkthrough in 4K is a great way to relive the thrilling moments and immerse yourself in the action-packed streets of San Francisco. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! 🚗💨🎮 #DriverSanFrancisco #FullGameWalkthrough #RetroGaming
BROOOOOOOO! Just remembered this game and this was freaking prime life, best game ever. I was around 10/11 and couldn't even really understand the storyline 😂😂
This game was well done, but had they have done this as an open world rpg like driver 3 and gave you a few different locations GTA wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
Beat the game once and never went back. The biggest sin this game commits is not having a Replay Mission feature. The actual story mode missions are great, but I didn't like many of the side missions and I REALLY didn't like how they were all required to beat the game, especially with super strict time limits and slippery controls. If I were able to replay whatever missions I wanted after beating the game, I would say the game is great, but alas...
I know this game came out a couple of years before gta v did, but did anyone else notice the (kind of) similarities in the characters when they played this
is this still for sale? cant find it. We need a all out 60/70 muscle car era game again, with 68,69,70 Dodge Charger, 70 Challenger, 67,68,69, Chevy Camaro, 70 Chevelle, 70 Chevy Monte Carlo, 70 Cuda, 70 Nova, etc etc you get my point..fully upgradable cars, stuff like that....cant find any game that has those cars.
Driver: San Francisco is extremely hysterical insanity frivolous and ludicrous i’ve laughed at the entire scene. That this is when the events that occurred happened when John Tanner is set a coma whilst hospitalised 🏥 John Tanner doesn’t know remember realise that he’s in a coma. But Charles Jericho tells him, John Tanner now that he remembered knows realises he’s in a coma whilst hospitalised 🏥 Tobias Jones thinks that John Tanner has to get remained hospitalised. Tobias Jones had a negative reaction of a shift and doesn’t care. Tobias Jones saw the shift after taking down a truck and John Tanner has his “Super powers” It is the most dreadful writing ever senseless plot. And not the moral of the story. John Tanner and Charles Jericho had the shift that is not logic and not real only sets in a coma not the real world. John Tanner wakes up in a coma and chases Charles Jericho in a real world that is not to “shift.” “Shift” into another person’s body retaining his person looking and sounding exactly the same as the person he has shifted into. Using this confusing power. Tanner ends up driving in front of Jericho in an alleyway, who rams Tanner's car into the path of a tractor trailer, resulting in a devastating crash which puts Tanner into a coma.
This series is the worst part that destroyed driver's career, ended it, and achieved the lowest sales. We were used to in the previous series that we could control the player with realistic stories, such as the series4 that was on PS2 device. It was very nice, and the story was between the sixties generation and the millennial generation after his release from prison, and I remember this. Because the game was unique, but this series is the worst series ever without any goal

I remember playing just until the moment I realized that you could never physically get out of your car and drive around like in a normal GTA. It was a huge disappointment if you think of a beautiful San Francisco to visit on foot and enjoy every detail but only possible from a third person point of view, stupid decision by UbiBSsoft.
The graphics are weak, sheets of A4 paper that fly out from under the wheels cause only irritation. The game is 10 years late. It feels like you're watching 1024x768 instead of 4k.
