In both cases you ll get probationary license Regardless of 1 or 2 or 3 years, you have 6 months to convert your overseas license in Victoria. Else you cant drive after 6 months

Any valid license from overseas is valid only for 6 months. No need to get international license.

But I heard we can do Uber eats etc and drive for personal use on overseas license as well. Do we still need Australian license or pass all the tests you mentioned?

Yes you can for 6 months as mentioned. After that you have to change your license

Is it possible if i go to Australia on 476 visa, find engineering job there, earn dollars, and then pursue master's degree once i have dollars? Thank you
