Ooh that drive looks epic now. Almost as good as new! It was absolutely revolting in places so it’s come up amazingly well. Great job Nick. I bet the home owners are thrilled.
Nice job! I like how soily the slabs look like. No perfect color, just a natural color pattern. Quite sweet for small, hidden patios like that. You cleaning your boots after the chemical treatment was unexpected 😂 I did wonder a while ago how you deal with the chemicals on your soles but the answer was unexpectedly simple. Really hilarious 😊 You usually use the blower only after all resanding, but here you used it while being at it. Was there a reason for that?
Hey Tatjana, many thanks for you usual excellent feedback. I wondered if anyone would notice that, and i'm not surprised you did, as I know your very observant. The sky was getting very dark, and I could feel spots of rain on my head, so was worried I was going to get caught out by rain, so thought it would be a good idea to get as much of the sand off the blocks in sections, as I didn't want to leave it looking messy, with little bits of sand everywhere, if I had to stop sanding and leave the job and come back when it was dry ❤️
Ugh! I always cringe seeing the rinse downs, I’d be SO irritated! It’s like herding cats 😂 brilliant work, your videos sold the customer over the test patch! YES 💪🏻
Great work as always Nick. You have a great portfolio of videos now for potential customers to view your outstanding quality work. A valuable commodity, worth all the time spent filming, editing etc. 👍
Nice that you could fit r the patio in for the customer/subscriber (hopefully). Shame about the drainage but as always you overcame the obstacle. Beautiful patio and paths now clean they shine almost as much as those beautiful gardens. Of course we got the Nick flower shuffle 😂 Hope you and your family are well and still sane. Just 1 week and 1 day till they are back back back to school 🎉
🤣 lol, yeah we're just about sane, counting the days though, can't wait until next week. (is that bad of me?🤭) I thought you'd probably appreciate the shuffle lol. Thanks Polgara, Love ya 💕
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning bad no no no no no...bad is counting the minutes and seconds I have been told.....so I am very bad because I am so counting them 🤣🤣🤣 All I am getting now is I am bored and meltdowns immediately after so I think mine are more than ready to go back too 🤣. Hugs to you and your wife just 4 days 22 hours and 38 minutes to go. Love ya 💕
That was a big job, very dirty everywhere and very poor drainage everywhere as well. Turned out so good. If the owner watches, very nice gardens, front and back!
Looks like these people enjoy caring for their yard. Having all the paving brightened and caught-up will be good. Nice he had watched your videos and also that he knew how to measure. Interesting, you are spraying, and had worked to turn down the level, to have better control. Noting that the wind was blowing pretty strongly, so that was a time when extra control of the pattern was needed. That job turned out really well. Like the colors of paving they had. The wind appeared to be a Blessing in this case, helping dry the paving quicker for re-sanding. Before and After photos showed what a big difference the cleaning made.
Looks good Nick, good to get work from your videos. I was searching my town for videos on contractors and there's hardly anything. I asked one guy did he have videos of the work he did, he asked was I trying to sell him advertising. I said no, I just want to see what you do. He told me there's plenty of photos. Anyhow, now that the better weather is showing up I'll do it myself! Great job Nick, thoroughly enjoyed it! Watching from Taupo New Zealand.
That was nice work Nick. I am always surprised how the driveway brick comes out so nice. The backyard came out brighter as well. Good work! I like how you try and head off negative comments lol Hope this finds you happy and healthy my friend. See you next time! ❤❤❤
Hi Nancy, thanks so much for the great feedback 💕. Lol yes i do that sometimes, it's just to try and stop the "your gonna kill the grass" comments, but even though i've explained it, i'll still get one or two moaning at me 🤣
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning Hahahaha! Well you can't please all the people all the time. Especially these days where they can say naggy things without looking you in the face. 🤣😂🤣
Tough one seeing how drainage is abysmal. There needs to be channels dug for all the water to runoff. Not your job to do but ought to recommend to customer channels to divert water from pooling.Nice job
Lovely job Nick, I bet the customer was happy you could do around the back too. Once it dries up here in NZ in Spring, I will have to clean my wood deck and start on waterblasting rear concrete path
Good question. I'll always ask if I can spread it neatly in and under peoples bushes or borders, as it's good compost, but if they say no, I take it away, let it build up in a pile, then pay for it to be collected.
I thought they looked very nice - earthy and blended well with the garden. Not everyone wants bright, showy patios. I love admiring them in videos and think they look stunning on large expanses of stone, but for smaller patios, for myself, I'd prefer something plainer that allows the garden to be the center of attention.
i’m a lorry driver working 65 hrs a week and am looking into starting my own pressure washing business doing drives roofs exc and just stumbled across your channel and now i’ve never been more determined! i have a nice bit of money sitting there to invest into some good equipment and now i’m really excited to see where it takes me…….💪🏻
Hi, Nick! What a pretty house with pretty gardens all around. And what turned out to be a very nice drive, walkway, and patio areas and paths. If only they had better drainage, they'd stay pretty for so much longer! The patios and paths around back look completely different with all the black scrubbed off! Very nice job there. But, for me, the paving out front was definitely the star! That drive looked almost new when you finished and I loved the narrow band of dark pavers along the edges. My favorite bit of all was the paved walkway across the front of the house. The banding made it look like a hallway with a custom carpet runner laid down. Such a pretty touch and it was invisible before you waved your magic power washing wand! Good job (naturally!) by you and good job by the viewer who was smart enough to call you! ❤ Have a lovely week, Nick!
Drive looks brand new Nick brilliant job round the back area also all those colours come up fantastic lovely always a pleasure to see your work Nick , what about joining forces with Ben ( and dad of course ) you would be a great team 🤣🤣 !! Hey Nick if i want to do this pressure washing where would I have go to get the right equipment ? what would I be charging a square metre roughly ?
Top job Nick just one question does the sodium hypochloride not damage the lawn and flower beds, or how do you manage that cheers Alex from South Africa
It seems that proper drainage would be a TOP priority when installing pavers in a country where it rains all the time. I've watched plenty of videos from that part of the realm where pooling is a serious problem. No wonder these walkways, patios and drives are so filthy. Nice work cleaning it all up, Nick! You've continually got your work cut out for you. I'm sure most of your customers are repeat business, at least every other year!
Love seeing the transformation, great work you do as per usual..... I took on this challenge last week, in our house early 2019, the drive, paths, patio were all in bad need of a clean and de weed etc....we had no outside tap, funds werent great, back injury, out of work and still in a bad way so can oy do little bits at a time and some days nothing at all, anyway the dive was like a forrest, weeds a foot long and moss and stuff growing all throughout, even the roots were shifting the bricks it was so bad, I bough a Karcher K4 and has the round cleaner, turbo jet and standard jet connection, used it 3 times, it was sat up 3 years went to use and nothing, thanks to yt I found the easy fix of letting water run through it with the gun end removed so water free flows, the air bubbles and sounds was the safety lock out, I honestly tjought it was junked... anyway back to life like new, unbelievable the transformation and what it can lift, huge growths of moss down side passage too, i fecked up and didnt use the turbo nozzle so took longer then should and still not right, the drive looks near like new only i need to get the hypo and sand and it will hopefully be in god nick for couple of years, tackled patio, front porch roof as covered in moss and will use the disc cleaner on utility roof too where I've removed near all the moss already. I've learned so much watching yours and others videos... thanks
love your vidos iam setting up a Driveway & Patio cleaning business in sheffield iv been geting some tips from your vidos but i need to kown how i prices the jobs any tips .... and keep up the good work m8
The re-sanding gave me a good giggle today - I have a ground access apartment, and my kiddos have little sand trays by the door outside. For the last couple of weeks of warm weather they were out there loads and I was sweeping sand up twice a day, every day, and the gaps in the brickwork always got very filled in. 😂
Really like your content been biting and bobbin with pressure washer bolt on service to my grounds maintenance services for yrs now.always gets me chomping at the bit to invest into this game.😊
A good tip for checking a job’s measurements and site access. Use google earth to zoom in on the address and just double check to see if the measurements for their paved areas and roof are to scale and correct. You may see they have little ‘extra’ areas that you need to quote extra for like paths and stairs and porch’s that they ‘assume’ you will throw in for free and may then decide to exclude. Street view you can tell if the front fences at least may need a clean too or if the roof is in decent condition
EXCELLENT job once again. I'm taking notes as I plan to do my own driveway (monoblock) shortly after buying a domestic pressure washer with 140bar potential. I've ordered the S.H. too. I will dilute it to 3:1 with water and spray it on, does that sound ok to you ? Thanks for your time.
And again you nailed it. I was a little worried about the drainage on that area outside the sunroom, but it seemed to drain away. Excellent job, Nick. Thanks for sharing. And the camera work....perfect. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cheers dude, I use this mate www.bonnymans.co.uk/product-page/lauryl-dimethylamine-oxide-ammonyx-lo, i'm almost certain that any of these off the shelf surfactants are made from this, but just diluted down.
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning ah yeah that’s the stuff I’ve been using for the last couple of years ! I’ve just run out and ordered the pure seal scent and boost stuff so will see how I get on with that 👌🏻
