Boss Man inspect the house with a fine tooth comb and make the builder make good on all the flaws! Because once you sign off on them being done with your house....It’s going to be hard to get them to come back out to fix the imperfections. So cover your own A** by thorough inspection of inside and out of their workmanship. Can’t blame you for wanting your house to be right !!!!!

The will put quarter-rround down to close the gaps in the flooring. It depends on the customers preference whether it will match the flooring or the rest of the trim. Hardwood or tile tends to blend better with color matched quarter round and generally is better because dust from the smooth flooring will land on the quarter round and it hides better with a darker finish.

Bossman, the house look good. On the wood floors, I think they are going to use 3/4 round to take up or cover up the gap space on the floor.

We always put piping under our concrete flatwork for wiring from the main house panel or lighting controls to coach lights, landscaping lighting, or outbuildings. It is very easy to do and then you can just cap the ends until you need them to prevent debris from clogging them. Saves a ton of work later and all the wiring is underground and out of site.

The house is really nice! Now, those cracks are due to the house settling, not necessarily a bad tape job. Happens in a majority of homes…even after a few years. What’s going on …I do flooring, they’ll install quarter round trim to hide the gaps that’s normal ….just ask them to caulk it in on top and bottom ..this will keep dust / dirt from getting in the gap where the trim and flooring meet…it gives it a cleaner look "no gaps"

Wait a minute, before you have them change it, if that's usable space maybe a closet or cozy reading spot with space for a book shelf 🤔. And a window for natural light. It will be cheaper for them to add a window than to change that dog house. And have a proper metal name plate made of the name boss man and boss lady made and sunk in concrete somewhere on your beautiful property

If my experience serves me right there is going to be 1/4 round moulding around that baseboard . That house looks amazing. Waiting that chicken house out back fresh eggs etc.

Drainage pipes underneath driveway and sidewalk so that the water doesn't settle near the house foundation...water should run-off from the house...away from the foundation of house. Plus, they still need to put shoe molding down to cover the small gap at the edge of the vinyl planks and the baseboards...it'll be perfect when it's finally done...

Beautiful house and property! So much property. I love a ranch home they’re very rare these days. Everything is coming along nicely there.

You are correct on the baseboard going down last as they should lay any type of flooring about a 1/4”-1/2” from the wall. Like someone else mentioned they gave you those pipes under your walkway and driveway to run power and water for your vegetation. I do not believe they were intended for drainage.

My friend the gaps around the baseboards and tile will be covered by quarter rounds. Relax and let the builder build the house!!! And the pipes under the driveway and sidewalk will be for water moving away from the house and the grading will take care of that.

Be cool bossman, just make sure they add 3/4 round mounding on the baseboards to cover the gaps. It's what they normally use when they install wood flooring. House looks great! 👍

One thing I've seen... Most builders when they building a house they put straw around the brick when they finish the brick wall because when it rains all the red mud washes up on the brick and it is very hard to get off something I learned in construction and don't hesitate scratch your name in that concrete that's your house and I'm a little bit worried about your driveway most driveways concrete when they put in you see Stone up underneath it I don't see a lot of stone up underneath your concrete driveway and are they coming back to finish it all the way out to the road or is that all you're going to get other than that the house looks beautiful congratulations again to you and your family shows a lot of us hard work pays off and dreams can come true God bless you and many years truly in your new home
