@@Alex_Papak Ever seen the RS6 crash at 300. A little Airbag doesn´t do much at that tempo. A fireworker friend of mine once had a crash with a stationary LKW on the Autobahn and a car driving 150. That car was only 1 meter long after the crash because it got so compressed.
I’m not German. But I’m avid fan of autobahns. Been doing business in DE for 7 years. That feeling that you can be in 1 hr within 200 range is priceless. And I really never felt endangered, unlike other European countries. It’s a blatant reminder that speed limits on highways is not about safety. It’s about collecting money. Safety comes from driving culture and technical maintenance of the vehicles
💯% agree with you man. Im a biker and i love speed. Live in London Uk and have points on my licence. Cameras everywhere here. Never hit a car or pedestrian in my life. All these speed cameras on the motorways and still there is always accidents. It's all about money 💰💰

@@MichalToEsone thing : never trust official number from Porsche the 992 turbo S can go clearly above 330 The GT2 RS has 340kmh vmax official but tested on the autobahn it’s limited to 363kmh
My gauge for speed is this: Terminal velocity of human free falling: Horizontal (on belly) - 200km/h (125mph) Vertical (standup or head down) - 290km/h (180mph) So at these speed, you need a lot more than and airbag to "decelerate" yourself withing "G" safe parameters.
Not really, the Lotus Carlton/Omega could do 290, M5 in the 80's and 90's did 250, McLaren F1 is still the fastest N/a car to this day. Plenty of normal road cars could do crazy speeds it's only US cars that were slow as hell, my Opel Kadett was faster than a Chevy Camaro V8 and it was only a 2.0 16v
Even the late 80s 911 turbo easily did 280kph so that was unreal in comparison to regular cars. Nowadays the gap is way smaller as most cars will do 250kph
If this was on Michigan, he would have hit a pothole at 250 km/h, blew out his tire, rolled 8 times and then get robbed. Meanwhile his GF is calling to dump him. Oh, it was his Birthday.
