Congratulations, you made an incredible trip safe and sound in spite of challenging temps and weather. I can’t believe seeing so much snow in Seattle, but don’t worry, it’ll go away quickly once the temperatures return to normal. I recommend for breakfast, Biscuit Bitch, located in the Belltown neighborhood on 3rd Avenue, not far from Downtown.
Welcome to Seattle/Washington! It's beautiful here! (we are in Lake Stevens about 40ish minutes north of Seattle). Washington has so much to offer - the gorgeous mountains with beautiful hikes, we have desert and the coast. Leavenworth is beautiful and fun. Super busy in the summer and Oktoberfest. It's most beautiful in the Fall. You'll have to also spend some time at Lake Chelan - lots of wineries and lots to do at the lake. You'll have to also spend some time on the coast. The beaches here are more rocky, but I recommend you drive up to Forks/Kalaloch/Ruby Beach, or to the Seabrook/Ocean shores area. You'll find beautiful long sandy beaches. Cannon Beach/Seaside in Oregon is also a favorite spot. Enjoy your new place!!!
Enjoyed seeing your all's road trip to Seattle. That German town looks cool. Definitely would plan another trip there. Nice view from your apartment. Good luck out there!
SWEET!! Nice seeing some sights!! You went to the Swiss Alps. There is a place like that Alphine Village not far from Los Angeles. Drive by another place like that in Huntington Beach off 405 freeway haven't been yet. Be nice to see video from last place to Seattle. Nice view for ruff looking out window to park. Yes lots of snow there!! I do not know know why Los Angeles news channels show weather in Seattle, & Portland. : ) Flew to see childhood friend near Portland telling me we will go to Seattle. SWEET!! Make sure you have snacks, water, blankets, dry dog food, first aid kit, flashlight, change of clothes in back seat for any road trips!! Read in magazine yesterday what to keep in vehicles (do not leave bottle drinks because heat inside car can make plastic toxic!!) which reminded me I need to do after 4X4 is serviced this Tuesday. Emptied out suv since new dealership people do steal from customers. Even drive close to ocean having those items are handy when weather changes. Oh yeah reflective triage is good to keep in vehicle in case your vehicle breaks down. Does your wife want a lift, new tires, after market on her suv? The white pops!! My Durango 4X4 (older model suv not new station wagon looking awd) looks brand new since I detail vehicles with mequire gold wash 8 9.00, quik detailer 8 9.00 at car places) making vehicles look cleaner wiping off wet ness in morning. Been to mequire events with employees amazed how clean my ride is. Im BUMMED you sold your ride. I did see a mojito jeep this week my first time in Southern California. Thanks again for road trip with you!! I did enjoy seeing a diff way to go cross country!! I was outside illinoise to California driving by self!! My rescue cat was no help!! I did end up putting it in! Unfortunately my file corrupted on my old camera and I lost all install footage.. which totally blows. But the clutch install went smooth and I loved having the SB clutch in there!
