Yes, good observation. There are a lot of new hotels, businesses and office blocks. Many that are still under construction, although I've only noticed a handful of construction sites that appear to be on hold.

@@skipper2594 "be happy". That's all I hear from people who have next to no idea what they're talking about. Unequal development is if you have an urban rural divide in development, not if the main road of the capital city is beautified and the side streets look like shit. I could go on and on here: the fake floating market where they tried to move pavement vendors to. The beautification without spending any money on drainage, meaning these roads flood at the drop of a hat. If you don't really know what you're talking about, the best thing to do is to just not say anything. If you want to be "proud" of your country this desperately, good for you. Just don't tell me what to do and not to do. If I want to call it fake and back it up with proof, that's my right. If you want to remain delusional, go do it someplace else.
