###Slough is a large town and unpraised area under the authority of the borough of Slough in Berkshire, England, 20 miles west of central London and 19 miles northeast of Reading. Slough is London Metropolitan and within the London Thames Vally at the M4, M40, and M25 motorways junctions. This town is the home of an estimated 164,793 people according to 2020 Govt statistics which were 140,793 back in 2011.
The Great Western Main Line passes through the town connecting another part of the country. Crossrail is a new addition that provides a connection to central London.
Slough is one of the most multicultural towns in the United Kingdom, attracting people from across the world for labor since the 1920s as it became a major trading center in the country. Unemployment stood at 1.4% according to 2017 statistics, one-third of the United kingdom average of 4.5%.
Slough is the home of United Kingdom Head Quarters of multinational companies out of London such as McAfee, DHL, Burger King, Blackberry, Lego, and Telefonica. Slough Trading Estate is the biggest industrial estate under single private ownership in the EU, with around 17,000 jobs in 400+ businesses.
