Driving around the Azores, Portugal - Sao Miguel Island 

September 7th, 2023 - Drove around Ilha de São Miguel (Sao Miguel Island) in the Azores, Portugal. Started out from the Northern side of Sao Miguel at the Pedras Do Mar Resort Hotel and drove to the Gorreana Tea Plantation. Afterwards, turned around on EN1-1A(the main highway that circles the island) before heading to the scenic volcanic lake of Lagoa Do Fogo. Parked at the shuttle parking lot, took the shuttle to visit the lake and then drove to the Santo Antonio Pineapple farm on the southern side of the island by Ponta Delgada. Then proceeded to head back to the Pedras Do Mar Resort Hotel. Minimal traffic, uneventful drive. Mixed weather with scattered showers. Rental car was a 2022 Dacia Sandero.
